What Parents Say
Norma Anderson Preschool in Wheatridge receives consistently high praise from parents. Reviews highlight dedicated, experienced teachers who provide individualized education, strong communication, and a supportive community environment where children thrive academically and emotionally.
What a magical place. My son attended Anderson Preschool for two years and loved it. The teachers and administrators are kind and resourceful, and dedicated educators with early childhood education expertise. It was a very different experience from a franchised preschool we attended the year before with high turnover and a lack of expertise. Miss Fabi is a gem. My son adored her and still talks about her influence. His fine motor, verbal, critical thinking, early math, writing, and social-emotional skills improved by leaps and bounds. They met him at his skill level and from my perspective, crafted educational plans and lessons to support a wide variety of learning styles and levels amongst the kids. He received ample outdoor, art, and play time, made friends, and experienced secure attachment to the grownups he interacted with. The class and school size felt perfect for his age. As a momma, I appreciated the community care, health aid (Miss Jessica), the dedicated SEL educator (Miss Courtney), and the village at Anderson. It was hard to “graduate” from such a special community, and I wish more JeffCo schools had the experience, care, community, and resources we found here. I hope we eventually have universal early childhood education—it matters and our children thrive when we prioritize these early Einstein years.
I love this school so much. They care about the students and are willing to meet kids where they are, making adjustments as necessary to bring them along. The teachers are good about communicating lesson plans with parents. We've been there for a year and couldn't be happier!
Great communication from staff and teachers! Very organized as well. My daughter loves it there. Whenever I pick her up she's always excited to talk to me about her day at school ❤❤
Very good preschool with kind teachers and helpful staff/admin. They also offer excellent hours which is helpful for families with two full-time working parents.
We have loved our experience at Norma Anderson! A great school with great teachers.
