I debated on posting or not but I believe other mothers / fathers should be aware. On Feb 2/28. My daughter was pulled out of class/ daycare by father. Despite me being the custodial parent and schedule given for daughter of times she will be there. This was definitely not included. I got a notification that was daughter was checked out. I immediately felt panicked because at the time I had no idea. Like maybe they bumped the button. So I picked up the phone to give them a call. Which I had to do( they never called me like anytime before someone other me picks her up) 3 times and all with no answer expect once where you could tell someone was on the line but hung up. I am even more panicked now because like WHATS GOING ON! so I asked my boyfriend to call and long and behold someone answers. He hands the phone to me. I asked about the Notification. Informed that dad took her out. He is not on the release form just listed as dad. Even then people on the release form still need confirmation from the parent before release. I understand they have rules and “policies “ . But to think it’s acceptable to not notify the other parent because he is “dad” is crazy to me. My daughter has a regular schedule there. Pick and drops off me or grandma . So this was completely out of the normal. I think it is very neglectful and unprofessional to not call and at least let the other parent know what is going on. In result of this I have pulled my daughter. Let the director know, didnt even receive an apology for the panic and scare that happened to me or not answering let alone calling . . Instead I got a threatening message about my co pays which I also let the director know the app was not working for me. So I have to pull cash to pay. Which is an inconvenience for me 9/10. I myself have attended this daycare as child so it saddens me to leave a review in a negative light. But I want to warn others so this doesn’t happen to them. But I can guarantee no parent wants to go through that. Not knowing where your kid is , why they where checked out , who checked them outand the daycare doesn’t feel the need to tell you your child was checked out , despite their schedule , or release policies. No one ever notified me.
I always felt that my kids were safe here and the staff was always very nice! My kids haven’t been there in 4 years but when I see the staff out in public they still ask how my children are!
I have a 9-year-old and an infant. We never did daycare with my oldest, but we had to with this surprise baby. I’ve been so worried about it, but my baby gets excited when we arrive and he sees where we are. They communicate throughout the day and I LOVE getting pictures of my baby and sharing them with my students. He’s always smiling and calm when I pick him up. Drop-off is quick and easy in the morning, which is so appreciated! The center is clean and calm. The staff I’ve interacted with have been pleasant and welcoming. Im so glad we chose Noah’s Ark and plan to stay until he is in school.
