Most parents praise the center's attentive staff, strong communication, warm atmosphere, and effective preparation of children for kindergarten. However, one parent raised serious concerns about the district's handling of racial issues and lack of inclusive curriculum for children of color.
The staff are attentive to the needs of the children and communicate well with their families. I wish they were able to continue educating into the K-5 age ranges. They helped my children become more independent and better prepare them for their academic future! I can’t thank them enough!
If I could give a negative start for every year we've been here. This district is NOT at all set for any child of color. Mixed or not. Between teachers and coaches WATCHING racism go on, the way these babies are deprived of the history that can actually expand their knowledge, or simply the chance to learn simple morals or values. I have made calls, I have pleaded with these people to make a change and I'm just not seeing any. I genuinely wish I could afford to take my children elsewhere. Until I can, I hope this post saves someone else from moving to this terrible district with a beautiful child of color.
