My daughter has been attending Newberry for over a year, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We absolutely love Newberry Child Care! Our 3.5-year-old has been going here for a year, and the difference we've seen in her growth and confidence has been amazing. She comes home every day singing new songs (which she loves!) and telling us all about the fun things she did with her friends and teachers. The staff is warm, patient, and clearly care deeply about the kids. The environment feels safe, clean, and genuinely joyful. It's also a fantastic early learning center, they do such a great job balancing play with structure and learning. We’ve felt totally supported as parents and really trust the team here.
When we moved to Eugene Oregon all the way from the other end of the country, we toured multiple preschools before picking Newberry. Right off the bat, Ms. Nickie and Ms. Jennie made our child feel safe and welcome. Our toddler who had never been to day care before fondly went to school everyday and even gave up her binky the very first day (big win for us). Similarly, few months in the teachers took the initiative to potty train our child as well and she has been doing great so far. The facility is so clean, well thought our and nurturing to young minds. They have various activities for the kiddos to learn through practice and play and we enjoy seeing them thrive here at Newberry. My daughter started in August 2023 and we both love Newberry. We moved a lot before settling in Eugene and the uncertainty contributed to a speech delay as well as some behavioral issues. Within a few months my daughter was making massive improvements with speech and behavior! Now she is a regular chatter box that is comfortable and social with her peers and the staff! As a parent it’s hard to send your kid to others because you have to work but it’s not at Newberry. Before enrolling at Newberry we toured just about every daycare in Eugene and Springfield. Newberry hands down surpassed any other daycare. The facility bright, organized and the cleanest (it does not have that “daycare” smell that the others have) with the most attentive and caring staff. My soul is at ease knowing my daughter is safe with people I can trust to take care of her. If you are looking for a daycare I highly recommend you tour Newberry with your child so you can see for yourself how wonderful the people and this place truly are.
