Was here for the K-Love Christmas concert. If I want already going to a church I love, I would go here. The staff working the concert I talked to are members of this church and they were welcoming and warm and kind. The church building is large and contemporary in style. Sound system was awesome. Would come back for other functions.
New Venture Church is a place I call home. When I walk into church, there's a sense of peace and comfort here . The name Jesus Christ says it all. It's in giant letters on the wall. It was the first thing I saw here that made me know I found my place. I felt welcomed. Senior Pastor Shawn Mitchell is a very very good teacher. He explains the Holy Bible in ways you can understand, in real-time life situations and backs it up with scriptures. If you would like to learn more about The Bible scriptures or how to pray, come. We are a come as You are Church.This is a praying Church. We pray for each other everywhere on this campus. Do you need prayer ? We are waiting, waiting for you. Just Come and see. You are loved. TY
Friendly outgoing, fun Church and awesome Venture Island for nursery ages 0-2 and then venture island kids 2-5 Kids world ages 5-10 we have the childcare during both services. It's relaxing for the parents so they can enjoy services. Our Pastor Shawn is wonderful and very outgoing his words makes you feel so good by him telling us about God and stories he shares. Our worship leader for the music is fun uplifting you clap and sing. The music feels so good your smiling still when church is over you hear the music as you leave all through your Day We have a Cafe it has , food, Donuts, chips, Breakfast food, Starbucks Coffee in the cafe and a TV to watch services. If your looking for Bibles or gifts look no further then our Bookstore they have, shirts, crosses, rings Earrings, wonderful staff and they monogram your Bible. Come check out New Venture Christian Fellowship service times are Sunday morning 8:30 am and 10:30 am Bring the family drop off the kids and enjoy service. This church is such a blessing! Love the sermon each week. I learn so much as well as strengthen my relationship with our Lord Jesus. It is fun too and the music is uplifting. Lots of activities and ways to give back to those in need.
Pastor Shawn and New Venture is an absolute blessing. I was at likely the lowest point in my life when I met Pastor Shawn. I attended the Sunrise service in 1997 and that morning, I was born with a new life in Jesus Christ. I was a guest that day, but felt like a part of the NV family. Very welcoming, very loving and God has anointed Pastor Shawn. I have my home Church in Central California, but any time I'm in north county SD, I attend NV. I will always be greatful to Pastor Shawn for following God's lead from Pastoring from his garage to where God has moved him to.
