I had a terrific Christ-centered worship experience. There services are all contemporary, and they do contemporary very well. The congregation seemed to be a cross-section of age groups, but it was predominantly Caucasian. I was an out-of-town visitor, and I felt very welcomed. I would probably attend here regularly if I lived in the area.
This church used to be a light in NewTown but now due to the Bishop and DS not following Scripture or the UMC Book of Discipline there are only a handful that attend. The vast majority walked away. It is a long sad story but you should know be aware that it is no longer the same church it used to be. No support for missions but hopeful it can reach others again someday.
No longer a functional church. Excellent daycare facility continues. Former congregation now at Daybreak Church, a Global Methodist Church.
I have been going to this church for years. I would highly recommend it. I have known the pastor's family for many years and they are very good people. They have a comprehensive children's program, a youth program, and an adult small group too.
Nice church. Very helpful people. Big sanctuary and kids school hallway. Neat fish and turtle . Hedgehog is the cutest.
