New Prospect Baptist Church Dcc

I love this place, the teachers and the people who run the daycare are wonderful!! I have 2 kids that have been here over a year and they love it. We looked at several other daycare facilities and tried one other but my daughter had a hard time at that one. We found this one as one of the last we looked at and we loved it!!

With this daycare being a part of a church system, we “figured” that it would be the best place to place our child for learning, development, and protection; but we soon learned that’s not the case. We had numerous instances with child neglect, unwillingness to follow protocol, and also witness of other child neglect from a specific teacher. We notified the head director of our and fellow parents findings and concerns, but only to be shot down and ridiculed. We have several concerns with our child that also involved us reaching out for a doctors care, to only find out that it was the treatment she was being given by one of her teachers. We tired to have meetings with the head director with the teacher which we had allegations about, but they canceled or both were no shows to work those days. After multiple failed attempts to discuss the issue with them personally, it left us no choice but to reach out to the Board of Directors about our findings, and confirmations with fellow teachers. The Board did absolutely nothing because they want to protect their reputation and not follow the correct protocols, even after we were told that matters will be taken care of. The messed up part is that they fired the teachers that were trying to help with our concerns, and kept the teacher that is still neglecting children. I guess we live in a world now that protect certain individuals because they are friends with the head directors children and they can get away with things that are seen out of camera view. Other teachers were also watching inappropriate movies in the rooms where the children were being kept. Children were being forcefully placed into cubbies for hours while the specific teacher had “her time” away from the kids. I really don’t understand their cognitive reasoning for their actions to protect the wrong doers and discipline the helpful, but you won’t be receiving our givings that you demand all the time. Still as I write this review, I can’t believe how misled we were to believe in a church environment to protect not only our child, but the other children that are still enrolled at that daycare. Hopefully the current parents will see this post and come to realize that this daycare is far from being safe and helpful. And to the future parents, hopefully you see this post and aren’t misled by this inconsiderate daycare and protect your children from any abuse. Like is said, with numerous allegations against the daycare and a specific teacher, that won’t be named, that ranges from; negligence, abuse, inappropriate character, and the unwillingness to teach, even the ones you think would be on your side, aren’t. With this being said, this daycare is understaffed and is being watched over by individuals who do not have their beat interest in anyone’s children. Please DO NOT enroll your children to this daycare and if they are currently enrolled, hopefully they aren’t being mistreated the way my child and other children were being treated.

Wonderful bunch of people. Can't wait to go back.
