Playground is nice, my boys enjoy it. However, I do not find it to be, very, family orientated , for the people that hang out at the pavillion are, always, blaring music that contains profanity and its multiple stereos with multiple songs at once, all, ridiculously loud...
I would have to say that this place has always been great. However, the new owners seem to have a new agenda of locking kids and families out of the park for certain hours now and locking them away from the courts and tables. As long as I can remember those gates have never been locked.
I attended the Christmas party for the kids as a guest this year...what an awesome experience! So many happy kiddos and such generous gifts:) This organization deserves recognition for what they are providing to these families.
The Martin Luther King Parade ended at this rec center. It rained all day, but didn't stop anything
Very Nice Place. Fenced in, Nice playground for the kids, tennis courts, basketball court, space for sitting in or out of the sun. Nice neighborhood.
