New Horizon Academy

Both of our kids attended New Horizon Academy Woodbury for 8 years combined and I could not speak more highly of the program, the teachers, and the curriculum! The teachers were fully invested in our kids development at every age/class and it's clear that it has helped them as they have excelled in Elementary School. Both kids still talk about how much they love their teachers there, by name! All of the staff put their hearts into their work and I always felt confident in their care of our children. We are extremely happy with New Horizon Academy and I HIGHLY recommend them!

I’m a first time mom.. and we were fortunate enough that we made it work my daughter could stay home 3 years of her life. When we needed a daycare immediately with life transitioning to both parents working, they fit me in for a last minute tour. We were able to get her started right away, and they made her transition into the pre school program so easy for her. She absolutely loves it. My daughter is also an extremely picky eater, and they’re very honest with me about what she’s trying and what she’s not trying. (She’s even started trying new things at home!) I get so many photo updates during the day that put me at ease. The staff is all very friendly and the facility is always clean. We love NHA Woodbury!

We recommend this daycare center, my twin boys have been attending since they were 5 months old and we have always appreciated the kindness of the teachers, the staff and also all the nice things they do for the kids when planning things like summer camp activities, Halloween trick or truck and others. They do have a nice curriculum and the teachers always give you feedback and provide advice when asked. Facility is also clean and they do open really early which is convenient for people like who start working really early every day.

We’ve been trusting New Horizon with the care of our children for around 4 years now and are so thrilled with what they’re able to provide. Trusting your children with anyone can be hard but they’ve always been fantastic in their communication and sending updates/pics to put any worry to rest. The staff has all been so kind and caring towards us, and more importantly, our children. My biggest gripe is that staff keeps leaving for promotions :) As far as the academics, I am constantly surprised at the things my children come home knowing. I am just amazed at how much they learn while maintaining such a fun and inclusive environment. Our oldest is undoubtedly ready for kindergarten and she still has a year to go! Also of note that they just completed a remodel and additionally purchased lots of new toys/equipment/learning tools! TL;DR: highly recommended New Horizon Woodbury for anyone with young children who want their child to be well taken care of, get prepped for elementary school, and have a ton of fun while doing it!!!

Our children have attended New Horizon Academy – Woodbury from infancy through preschool. We have been so impressed with the staff, curriculum and community. We know our children are in good hands in a safe, supportive and fostering environment. The staff is wonderful – they are responsive, flexible and truly care about the wellbeing of our kids. The teachers in every program (infant, toddler and preschool) are amazing! We have been very happy with the level of care, learning and communication that they have provided. Our children love their teachers and are excited to go to “school” each day. They are taught a wide variety of subject areas and we are consistently in awe at what they have learned. We know they will be well prepared academically and socially for Kindergarten. The New Horizon Academy – Woodbury community is very welcoming and inclusive of all. They truly care about our children and their success!
