OK, we are presbyterian but love going to other churches to worship with our sisters and brothers. First...WOW. A rather large worship building that is acoustically set up so you only hear what the audio technicians want you to hear. This means that the drum kit is not the loudest instrument in the room. And sweet was the sound. Great vocals with well placed highlights and great pains to not be a spectacle. Thank you. This was worship! I got a sense of the Jesus Revolution continuing to draw in the cast out, the unloved and dare I say...the unloveable. A scrum of worshippers of all makes and models coming together for one purpose GLORY! Thank you Christ lovers of New Hope Bible Church
The first time we visited NHBC we were impressed and knew we wanted to come back. The preaching was from the Bible. The congregation, friendly and multigenerational. One of the pastors took the time to connect with us and upon learning that my fiancé and I were soon to be married, encouraged and offered to pray with us. That was back in 2017. That young engaged couple is now married with 3 kids. We’ve experienced a lot of life since then, and we don’t have a lot of local family, so the church has filled the gap. When my husband was injured and I was very much pregnant, they came and mowed. When we needed counseling, they were there with biblical counsel and pointed us to Jesus. When we thought we were miscarrying they comforted and prayed with us. When the baby (and the others) were born they brought us meals. When those babies had birthdays they came and celebrated. When we needed help moving they rallied the troops. When our car broke down they made sure we had a ride. I could go on but you get the idea. New Hope is a family, and God’s love is bursting at the seams. 💕
People are great very inviting, but the music puts you to sleep.Does make you feel excited to be in the Lords house. When we leave we don't feel happy and regenerate. At least have first song wake you up. No one claps hardly hear an Amen . But again people are very friendly.
We always appreciate visiting there when visiting family! It is so encouraging to see the love for the Lord, His Word, the preaching of the truth and the fellowship of believers. May the Lord continue to richly bless your ministry for His glory!
Pastor Bobby is a great leader and shepherd... I love visiting this church... very loving body of believers... "...where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty..." 2 Cor. 3:17
