I love this daycare so much. My 6 year daughter has been to 4 daycares and hands down this is the best and longest one she's attended and she loves it. We've been apart of the New Adventure Learning Center Daycare family for almost 3 years and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The owner is very personable, loving and charismatic. The teachers are very professional and gentle with the kids. The teachers are also excellent with helping improve developmental skills with the smaller kids. I can't stress enough how comfortable I am with leaving my daughter in their care. Most importantly for us working moms the operating hours are very accommodating. If you're looking for a daycare, look no further. This is the best daycare❤️ever!!!!!

The owner was sweet whn I talked to her on the phone, but the first day I enrolled my child here she called me 30 mins after I dropped her off and told me it wasn’t going to work out because my kid was crying . Mind you she is 3 and this is a new environment for her. they did not even try to calm her, she just told me to come get her and it isn’t going to work out.. the staff all looked like teenagers like they were all her older grandkids she was just giving a job to .. it was very unprofessional and a waste of time . This owner really disappointed me because she was so sweet over the phone :(

There was pros and cons for this daycare. When my boys came here several years ago. Pros: Some teachers do care about the kids from the few I met at the time. It's affordable They do work with you on scheduling Cons: Organization was bad in keeping age groups separate.(Babies w/older toddlers.) Possibly due to lack of staff. Poor/No communication when incidents happen. Felt the tension in the air between some employees & how the owner ran things. Then there was my experience and red flags I took from the owner. She was nice but definitely unprofessional and brushed off concerns. So heres my experience. I Had 2 kids a 6 month old & a 4 yr old attend here. I noticed that the owners rambunctious and temperamental grandchild was passed around from class to class in different age groups. But when he was moved to the babies room with 1 teacher to 3 or 4 babies he stomped around threw toys around and took toys from the babies playing in the mats. The teacher looked stressed but did her best to calm him. I asked when dropping off my son why was he there. She just mentioned it was the owners grandson. I stuck around for about 5 mins until she finally got him calm with treats. She said he'll be moved by lunch time. Which was soon. So I said ok, I was running late so I left but made sure I told the front desk that the baby room teacher needed at least 1 more person with the toddler there. They said ok so I left. Each time I came I observed this toddler goes from class to class and throws off the curriculum from the teachers with the other kids in their age group. Sometimes throwing tantrums and yelling at the teachers. The owner and grandma sometimes stepped in but not sure because a parent was there watching but saw she never corrected his behavior. Just spoiled him with toys and snacks while baby talking when she put him in her office. Then continued doing what she was doing. The boy ended up back in the babies room a different day but around the time I picked my kiddos up. This was a red flag to me. Because the lack of support the teachers had & how much they seem to walk on egg shells to keep their jobs & just deal. But was hoping this was only temp like she said. There were 3 incidents with my older son with a bully kid his age. 1st incident was the boy broke my son's necklace by pulling it off his neck and laughed. The teacher did act on it appropriately but I was never told by the daycare instead by my son. Then it was confirmed the next day after i found out. 2nd incidents the boy bit my son. Again i didn't hear about this by them but the teacher put the boy in time out & he lost his recess time on the next outing time. From what my son told me & again I confirmed with the teacher the next visit. I tried speaking to the owner then but she was out. 3rd incident and definitely the last. Same boy choked my son. I asked him to show me how by doing role play. He was the other boy and I was him. He showed me and it was definitely on purpose. My son is my eldest & at this point has never rough played with other kids because for the longest he was an only child. Even today he still more of a lover & not a fighter. At this time at the age of 4 he never attempted to lie. He'd even tell on himself. So I trust my sons words when he said they were inline ready to go out & play. That boy kept teasing him & saying mean words to my son (in his words). So my son told him to stop or he'll tell & that's when the boy grabbed him by the neck & choked him. So of course I did not hear about this incident. Until my son told me the next day. Since my mom picks him up while I'm in school for nursing. So now im livid and show up asking to speak to both teacher and owner. Unfortunately teacher was not there for me to ask. But I was able to speak with the owner. Basically her response was telling me and my son that our concerns weren't important and I was overreacting. Because instead her words to the choking and biting. "Boys will be boys. That's how they play." Never went back & I had to dropped out of school. I no longer trust daycares.

The lady Lisa at the front desk didn't hear the door open or see me standing at the window, when I interrupted her conversation with another employee she was short with me. When she opened the door I was amazed when I walked in during nap to find the front classroom unattended and older kids laying in the walkways as a form of punishment while the others where watching a movie! You would think nap time is quiet time, wrong! This place had no control over the children. There was food still on the kitchen counter from lunch and I could hear dogs barking in the office. When I asked to view the restrooms, she told me the boys was out of order but would be fixed soon. The place had boxes on either side of the walkways which made them narrow, this is a fire hazard and should not be allowed. When we walked outside to the infant room there was a lot of stuff stacked under the patio which left no shaded are for the children to rest while outside playing. The outdoor play area had absolutely no shade! We are in Houston and it is too hot for anyone to be outside for extended amounts of time without any shaded areas to rest. The water fountain outside doesn't work either! Overall my experience here was horrible. Needless to say I have found another center that meets my needs and expectations to ensure my children are in good hands and safe while I am at work. Only 1 star because I had to, otherwise I would have gave 0!
