We love New Adventures Academy! My first son was there from 8months old until he started Kindergarten this week. Currently, I have my youngest in the toddler class, he’s been attending since he was 3months old. Sarah is a wonderfully communicative owner. She’s very focused on providing a safe environment for all the children. I have always appreciated the video access to my child’s room so that I can check on them whenever I have a moment to spare at work and I’m thinking about them. My kids have loved their time there and we are so grateful for them!
I have seen the most recent poor review of this establishment. I can definitely tell you this is an amazing daycare. The owner and all of the staff are amazing. My son is sometimes one of those kids that is a little troublesome yet they treat him amazing. They always are trying to find a way to make the experience for each child the best it can be. Very grateful my son has such wonderful teachers at such a young age.
This is by far the worst daycare around. I have personally seen the “director” of the daycare drag a child across the playground by their arm. The “owner” of the daycare has a bad attitude and will just flat out lie about things. They have no patience when dealing with children. I dropped my son off at 9 am and by 10 am they were asking me to come back and get him to listen. I had a dental appointment at 10:20 am and my wife was working at the time. I said that neither of us could come get him and that I would have to pick him up after my dental appointment. Apparently that was not good enough for them so the owner got an attitude with me and told me that someone needed to come get him then. I explained to her again, this time with an attitude, that neither of us could come get him at the moment. She said it again with even more attitude this time that someone needed to come get him. To refrain from tearing this woman a new one, I just said “okay” and hung up. I continued to my dental appointment and a couple of hours later my wife calls. The “owner” called her and guilt tripped her into leaving work to get our son. When my wife got there the owner said that she had talked to me and she was under the impression that I was going to pick him up. That was the first lie. She then said that she had called me and I didn’t answer. Second lie. She also said that the staff has been telling me for weeks that my child has been “out of control” and that I didn’t seem to care. Third and fourth lie. If your child is a little challenging at times, definitely do not take him to this daycare. They’ll expect you to be available all day so that you can do their job, that they clearly have no idea how to do. The staff has a high turnover rate because of the owner and director. My wife and I were told directly from one of the ex-staff members that we actually liked, that the owner and director did not like our son.
We love New Adventures Academy! All the teachers there have been great with both of my kids. Sarah has always been very understanding and helpful with anything I have questions on. I would definitely recommend this daycare for anyone needing childcare.
We've been genuinely impressed with the daycare. It's clear the staff genuinely cares; they treat our little one with the kind of attention and affection you'd expect from family. Their honesty and openness in all our communications have been refreshing. It's comforting to know our child is in such caring hands.
