We have been enrolled at The Academy in Hollidaysburg for over a year and it has been a wonderful experience. The communication is great, the care is wonderful, and my grandson is well cared for, safe, and happy while there! Love the daily updates and pics. Top notch staff!

The Academy Preschool EEC is EVERYTHING you are looking for in a daycare. My first started in 2021, and we’ve been there ever since! One of my favorite things about this daycare is the communication. They utilize an app that keeps you updated on meals, naps, diapers and they always send the best pictures! Outside of the app, the teachers are always so kind and open to answer any questions or listen to any concerns during pick up/drop off. Every staff member truly gets to know each child(especially Miss Rachel and Miss Jada in the office-my kids love them) and it is evident that they are loved. Along with knowing that your child is loved, safe, happy and learning throughout the day, they will also be fed! They have a cook, Miss Christine who makes the kids an amazing breakfast AND lunch, so you don’t have to worry about packing a thing. I cannot recommend The Academy enough. Your children will thrive here.❤️💡

We have had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Academy daycare, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that this daycare is a special place where children are not just cared for but nurtured and guided in their growth. Our journey started in the infant room with Miss Madison and Miss Ali, who have been incredible with our little one. They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure our child feels safe, loved, and engaged every day. We were lucky to have Miss Hailey and Miss Phil, who continued the exceptional care. They’ve fostered an atmosphere that promotes both learning and play, helping our toddler reach new milestones while making every day feel like an exciting adventure. Miss Mary and Miss Katie have also been a dream. They are always proactive in providing detailed updates on our child’s progress, as well as offering learning targets that are consistently met. This level of communication truly sets The Academy apart, and it's so comforting to know exactly where our child is in their growth and how we can support them at home. Ultimately, It’s about building a partnership where we feel involved and engaged in our child’s day-to-day experience. The Academy’s commitment to fostering a family-like environment is evident, and the staff truly makes an effort to make us feel like we’re part of that community.

My son has been going since he was about 2 years old and we love it! The teachers are so caring and take very special attention to each child. It makes me feel very comfortable knowing my son is well taken care of while I work. Super thankful for all these amazing people!

My daughter has had the pleasure of attending The Academy since she was 2. She is now heading to kindergarten next year. The relationships and bonds she has made at this establishment are ones she will remember forever. I was always confident she would be taken care of every day. She was challenged and prepared for kindergarten. The staff is always so nice and welcoming and made her feel at home. I highly recommend this facility for childcare and preschool.
