Nenas Child Care

The employees here were so great. My son was fully potty trained in one week 😯 I never had issues and my son was always in a great mood when i picked him up. This place not only has great prices but also great people. They always did things for the kids and parents and hardly asked for any extra money or items so i guess they just paid to host it all. But most importantly, they didnt ask me to pay for unnecessary supplies like the daycare up the street. Paying online is easy! And the app is awesome 😎

My mother-in-law got cancer and ended up intubated. We had to have somewhere to take my daughter. She is 4. We took her to Nena’s and I have been so impressed. She is now off for the summer because grandma is better and wanted a couple weeks before I’m off for summer to keep her. My daughter loved it, loved her teachers, and I loved them. She would still be there if grandma hadn’t requested to watch her. You know it’s a great place when you hate to have to leave. The ladies there are so wonderful and nice. They know all the kid’s names and parents. They run a tight shift and keep rules in place. They teach them and do breakfast, lunch, snacks, and treasure box. They do nice things for the parents like muffins for moms or mother day gifts. I cannot praise this place enough. They were a God send for me and I thanked God for them and still do. I will recommend this place to anyone I know who needs a daycare center.

If I could leave no stars, I would. I was new to this town and this was one of the first places I found for childcare. They were affordable and had hours that worked with my schedule. I had two children attend this daycare for almost two years. Over the span of these two years, I encountered so many issues!! People, please look up their report on Health and Human services for Texas. Read everything they've been written up for!! Think twice! First off, anyone can just walk in and back to the kids. No one is hardly attending the front desk, especially in the afternoon as chaotic it is. They are extremely non professional as it gets. I've witnessed the owner Ms. Claudia get into with with parents in front of other parents and kids. My younger child more than once, has had marks left on their rear end and back. When I brought this issue up, I was told the cameras would be reviewed and I would be notified when anything was found. After THREE days, I demanded to know what happened and was told nothing was found on the cameras and they only recorded and stored for the last 3 days. Both of my kids had repeated lice issues. Id treat and get rid of them and they'd be right back a week later. They constantly switch up "teachers" (not certified) for the little kids because they are so over crowded. So you never know who they're being left with. So much so, my younger child was put with a teacher who spoke no English. This lead to my child not being able to use the restroom when needed and having accidents daily for 2 weeks and me being told to re-potty train my child. I was notified that my older child didn't get on the daycare bus from school. So in a panic I sent my husband to the school to pick up my child. After arriving to the school, my child wasn't there. Turns out my child DID get on the bus and was at the daycare the entire time! I could go on and on but these are just some of the more major things I had to speak up on. Choose wisely!

I needed childcare for two days a week for a short time. They were extremely accepting and over the top friendly. Allowed me to come after hours for a private tour before we started. The center smelled so clean when I was met at the door during drop off and pick up. Even though we only went there for a short time they greeted us by name and my 1yr old loved them and went to them willingly. Highly Recommend.

I LOVE this place! My children attended here for several years and they loved it. I wish that all daycares could be just like Nena's. The staff is well trained, the kids actually LEARN stuff, and they do something fun with the schoolers all week long during the summer. There's never a dull moment for them. I give them 5 stars!
