What Parents Say
Note: These reviews appear to be for a fitness/community club facility, not a traditional daycare center. Reviews consistently praise the cleanliness, variety of classes and amenities, friendly staff, and family-friendly atmosphere. The main concern noted is the high membership cost.
Came here as a guest with my friend. The gym is very nice and clean. Everything was fine until I was profiled for being black. We were working out in the basement and one of the workers came in to the room and walked up to me and asked if I had a membership. I told them I was a guest and they asked for my name and walked away. I was the only black person in the room and it seemed odd they would ask me if I’m a member but no one else. Definitely won’t be back.
This place is a joke. We pay over $100 a month for our family PLUS preschool tuition. We went to go swimming and my son brought a friend. They wouldn’t let a guest come because he was under the age of 16. Mind you, both my husband and I were present and would have been in the pool. The guest was 10 years old. Never again. We will be canceling our membership. Edit: they were having a birthday party for toddlers and all their parents weren’t present. So tell me how that works?
Outdated locker rooms but probably the cleanest gym in the area! Not a ton of equipment if you’re looking to target different muscle groups. Usually never a long wait in between equipment. Respectful gym goers. Good family price.
Overall a good, clean facility. The hours are not great in the summer (why close at 4 on a Sunday??). Equipment is generally good as is availability, but they only have 1 working elliptical out of 3 total, with two that aren't usable and haven't been for months on end. Front desk can be surly!
Put a sign up that guests have to be off the machines before 10pm or closing. I should not be being rushed off a machine, when the bald head white man who sees me every time ive come in for over a year now and myself, knows full well what time the facility closes. Im on the stairmaster before just leaving this evening and i timed it so i would be done at 9:59. He tells me to "wrap it up!" In what world would i be trying to work out past closing and again would i need to be reminded of closing time when he knows im not new there?! (i only had 15 secs on my machine, at 9:58, when it yelled it from across the room{ i had on headphones}) This gym already has an unwelcoming air toward people of color, I dont need him or anybody else trying to flex whatever authority he asserts himself to have because he's ready to go and trying to rush people/looking stressed. Just work somewhere else. The hours at this place are already bad enough. They dont fit the needs of people and their varying schedules. Worst weekend hours of a gym i've ever seen. You should in the very least honor the operating hours or make it clear guests have to be: off the machines and out by whatever hour you close that day of the week. I personally want my $60 worth until that time comes.
