We’ve had such a wonderful experience at NCC. Over the years, it has been amazing to see my child grow from being hesitant about going into the classroom to walking in with happiness and confidence every day. The teachers and staff truly care about each kid. They take the time to get to know my child’s personality and nurture them in a way that makes them feel seen and valued. It’s very clear that they love what they do, and that makes all the difference. Additionally, the preschool prepared my child exceptionally well for kindergarten—both academically and socially. My child leaves with confidence, strong friendships, and a love of learning, and we are so grateful for this wonderful foundation.
My daughter had a truly wonderful three-year experience at NCC. The teachers are exceptional – loving, caring, and recognizing the unique strengths in every child. We were consistently impressed by the prompt and responsive communication from both teachers and office staff whenever we had questions. Even though NCC is a play-based school, we saw remarkable growth in our daughter's learning and her ability to interact with her friends through daily play
We’ve had a wonderful experience at NCC. The campus is one of the best in the South Bay - newly renovated classrooms, real wood furniture, and a refreshed playground, all kept in great condition. The teachers are warm, experienced, and truly care about the kids. Many have been at NCC for years, and their teamwork shows. There are also staff who guide gardening activities, which the kids love. While I think younger classrooms could use an extra teacher, the classes are always calm and well-managed, even with high energy preschoolers. Communication has been smooth - teachers and the director are responsive and thoughtful. The school is also very consistent in following its policies. Most importantly, NCC is a joyful place. Kids can be themselves and grow at their own pace. My child has thrived here - he’s happy, confident, and more than ready for Kindergarten, all through play-based learning. We didn’t do any extra academics at home, yet his math and literacy skills have grown significantly over the past year. Our class had great outcomes applying to private schools this year. Highly recommend NCC for any family looking for a nurturing, well-run preschool that balances play, learning, and love. We will surely miss NCC!
NCC is a true blessing in our parenting journey. Both of my children spent their early childhood years at NCC, and it was truly the happiest time of their little lives. The school feels like one big family—centered on love, sharing, and faith. They deeply value family ethics and teach children not just academics, but how to love others and walk with God. Every end-of-semester performance brings tears to my eyes as I witness the growth of each child year after year. The teachers are incredibly loving and patient, and Principal Ms. Medy has always been generous in sharing parenting advice with me—even for my older child who already graduated. The community of parents at NCC also share the same values, and many of us have remained close friends even after our children moved on. Even though we speak only Mandarin at home, my kids’ English and social skills clearly blossomed during their time at NCC. Another thing I love is that the school encourages the kids to grow vegetables and harvest them themselves—this helped my children develop a natural familiarity with fresh produce, and they’ve never been picky with fruits or veggies. If I had to point out the only “downside,” it’s that kids came home with shoes full of sand and got really tanned from playing outside every day. Lol Having NCC walk alongside me in my parenting journey has truly been a blessing from God. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent seeking a nurturing, faith-based environment filled with love and support. Note: They recently renovated their facilities- bright and clean. We love NCC and all its staff! This school is nurturing, educational and fun! My son loves the staff, his teachers, the facilities, office staff and everyone knows him by name. The teachers are very communicative, and make themselves available to help nurture your kid with you. I have a ‘high energy’ son and they have have kept an open dialogue with me to understand how the day went, places to praise or any concerns, and we have worked together to strategize ways to be consistent on how we can teach him at school and home and he has grown so much from it. They really care for each student and want them to succeed, it feels like a family. Another thing- how many places do you go where all the staff (not just teaching and admin- but facilities) are happy to be there! My son loves to watch them fix and repair things, and they are always happy to give a high-five as they walk by or stop and chat. I love knowing everyone on that campus is happy to be there and cares about the school and it’s kids. They have a strong curriculum of learning in a play based environment that breeds creativity for kids. My son has friends, and even at 3 has informed me who his best friends are, who his new friends are etc. I love the beautiful outdoor spaces, the kids can pick fruits and veggies, lots of water play when it’s warm, so many outdoor activities, and they learn about nature! The snacks are healthy and fresh and teach kids the importance of eating fresh produce. They have chapel on Wed to learn about God, giving to charity and I am so impressed that my son knows how to pray! I could go on - but I really do think it’s a special place, my son loves his teachers, and they love him back - and that’s what’s most important.
