Nature'S Edge Child Development Center

Since my daughter was 2 years old, our experience at Nature’s Edge Child Development Center has been absolutely wonderful. The teachers are incredibly kind, caring, and supportive, making each day of learning truly special and meaningful. One of the things I love most about this school is how hands-on and creative it is, helping children grow both intellectually and creatively in such a positive way. I would like to give a very special mention to: • Ms. Amber – for her dedication, love, care, creativity, and hard work. • Ms. Samantha – for her creativity that inspires the children to explore and learn, as well as her kindness and love. • Ms. Victoria – for her humor and spontaneity, which always bring joy to the classroom. My daughter always came home with beautiful stories, amazing artwork, and exciting experiences. We will forever cherish these precious memories from this stage of her life. I would also like to highlight Ms. J, the director, who is always attentive, helpful, and responsive to questions and requests. We are deeply grateful for the care, love, and inspiration that Nature’s Edge has provided. It has truly been a wonderful foundation for my daughter’s growth, and the teachers and staff will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you.

We are so grateful our daughter had the opportunity to attend this school. We've truly seen the positive impact it has had on her growth. The consistent communication, both through the Brightwheel app and during pickup, has been especially appreciated. Even when there were behavioral concerns, we valued how the staff addressed them openly so we could work together on solutions. The school's thoughtful food program is another standout feature, especially given the already competitive tuition. As our daughter prepares for kindergarten, we'll deeply miss the flexible hours, the caring staff, and the joy she found here every day. Thank you, NECDC, for nurturing her during such a pivotal time in her life.

Nature's Edge has been a hugely positive experience for our family. Our kids have made lasting friendships, and we've gotten connected to an amazing community of parents. Everyone at Nature's Edge truly enjoys kids and helping them grow, which is evident in so many ways. I couldn't recommend the place more, especially for the price.

I absolutely lovveeee love love this school! My daughter attended here for 3 years and she really grew from all that she learned. If you’re looking for compassionate, innovative, communicative, CLEAN, accommodating, and proactive staff/school. This is the place! The staff are all so nice and they really do their best for the children.

Nature’s Edge Google Review 💚💙💛LOVING & WARM, STRUCTURED YET FLUID, ARTISTIC & ENRICHING! I have had 2 children attend Nature’s Edge, beginning at ages 2 & 3. I must start by saying, before becoming a single mother, my original intent was to homeschool my children. So when I came around to realizing that childcare was something I would have to embrace, it was no easy journey to simply select a place I trusted and felt fully comfortable caring for and teaching my children after them being in my own care fully since birth. In the process of choosing a school, I toured 8 locations throughout the city, including both private daycares and child development centers, even big name ones like Kinder Care. Some of the places didn’t come any near close to somewhere I was willing to let them transition into, & some were acceptable but not ideal. Of these 8, there were really only 2 that I narrowed it down to, and my intuition led me to choose Nature’s Edge and I’m so glad I did! I’ve truly got to see my children grow and expand in so many ways. It’s amazing to see over the past year how my son has gone from very attached to me, crying regularly at drop off and during the day, and being timid and reluctant with communication, to being a vibrant little force in the classroom, hearing of him confidently participating and even seeing how thoughtful and engaged he is with his art and activities, and enlivened in playing with other children. My daughter and older child, I’ve also seen grow accustomed to the structure and appreciate the freedom of play, and she always looks forward to coming to school. I’ve also got to see her grow into more confident communication with her teachers and peers. As for the physical space, the center is spacious, very orderly, inviting, artistic, and full of life, and the children love the outdoor play space, including the new playground that was installed this year. I also love that they truly get a balance of plenty of outdoor play and indoor enrichment and activities, including a weekly yoga option for the older kiddos. Lastly, it’s a place's leadership & staff that truly make it amazing, and I’ve truly appreciate the leadership at Nature’s Edge. The ladies are communicative with me as a parent, and also very understanding and work with me as changes sometimes arise for me and my children. For any mothers or parents looking for a great place to transition their little one into the realm of childcare and preparing for the school environment, I would definitely recommend Nature’s Edge! 💚
