The Nashua Adult learning center has a phenomenal study group for anybody looking to earn their GED. Alexis and Bill were both extremely understanding and flexible with my busy schedule. Alexis can easily find out what you're having trouble with and help you understand any concept you are trying to learn. The Nashua ALC is an open and quiet place where you can actually learn quite a lot even if it feels like you're taking a crash course. I personally found reading and comprehending the paragraphs before the questions in tests would help me find the solution faster. If you are thinking of attending the study group you have a wonderful opportunity at your hands, and theres no reason you shouldn't attend. Big thanks at Nashua ALC. Nashua's best kept secret! My 6 months old son goes to day care here and he loves it! They have a music teacher come in, painting, sand tables, and buggy rides outside! The staff take very good care of my son! If you want to get in, act fast, there is usually a wait list! Also - all the formula and baby food is included, plus they are open all the time - no random holidays off! Really wonderful!
I started taking computer courses; Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, & Access at Adult Learning Center. Even though I did use excel at my past "corporate" position I now realize how little I knew using the very basic functions. Along with Office Programs, I completed Quick Books and am now in the Accounting Payroll Program. I highly recommend this program to any small business owners or self-employed. It is at your own pace, the instructors are on site (no back and forth on computer), and price is lower than any other school in the area. Now, being a small business owner I feel empowered by all the skills gained with the help from Nancy who is an amazing instructor / person.
The Teachers are very nice and welcoming. The place is neat and spacious. Highly recommended.
