Our family had our children enrolled here for two years, paying $1,880 per month. For most of that time, we trusted the facility, but our experience deteriorated significantly toward the end and ended in a deeply upsetting way. Rather than working with us to address behavioral concerns, our son was removed from the program without support or constructive guidance. The director, Jalissa, conducted herself in an extremely unprofessional manner raising her voice, using profanity, and making personal attacks on our children’s behavior as well as on my husband’s and my parenting and character. I recorded the entire interaction. When I respectfully asked for resources or guidance to better understand and address behavioral challenges, I was laughed at and dismissed, being told, “girl, I’m not going there with you.” Throughout our time here, both of our children had multiple incident reports involving scratches and bruises. We were also once called in for a meeting after our son reported that a teacher held his nose while he was crying and spanked him. These concerns, combined with the director’s conduct, left us feeling unsafe and unsupported. I truly hope other families have a better experience than we did, but based on our treatment and the lack of professionalism from leadership, I cannot recommend this facility. Looking back, I wish we had removed our children sooner. Would’ve given 0 stars, but you have to give minimum of one. Edit- I want to clarify several inaccuracies in the director’s response, as it presents a version of events that does not reflect our actual experience. At no point in our interactions was the director kind or respectful. During our phone conversation, I was not rude. The director laughed at me and hung up on me twice without warning. Contrary to her statement, she did not inform me she was ending the call. The conversation was on speaker, and my coworkers witnessed this interaction and were shocked by how it was handled. I was also respectful in person. I came as a parent asking vulnerably for help and guidance. I have a recording, which reflects that tone. When I asked how she personally manages her own child’s behaviors, her response was, “I just deal,” without offering any practical strategies or support. No resources were provided during the meeting or afterwards, despite my request. I still have the packet from that meeting, and it does not contain a single resource. No follow-up email with resources was ever sent. The only suggestion given was to have my son evaluated, without guidance on where or how to begin that process. My daughter’s belongings were packed without notice, and she was in the wrong shoes. We were then told we would be charged $75 for shoes that were supposedly “stolen,” despite the fact that they were placed on her by the director herself. The shoes were immediately returned. I do have a recording of our interaction, which I have shared with the new facility where our children are now enrolled. Their staff expressed disbelief at how the situation was handled and how I was spoken to as a parent. Google reviews don’t allow audio uploads, so I am including an image of the scratch that occurred at the school, which the director has stated she was unaware of. Which is a lie. We have personally witnessed an employee’s child slap a teacher, laugh, and run away. According to that teacher, this behavior occurred regularly, yet the child remained enrolled due to their parent being an employee. For clarity, our son’s behavioral challenges were never physical. They consisted of emotional outbursts, tantrums, and difficulty during nap time. A sticker chart was suggested, tried for five days, and then we were told it “wasn’t working,” that he could not be handled, and that he could no longer remain at the facility after 1:00 p.m. This was our children’s first experience in a childcare facility. Had we been informed of additional support options or resources, we would have pursued them immediately. I am sharing this to ensure an accurate and complete account of our experience.

Nannys the best daycare ever i have been a teacher and parent so i know first hand about this place . I would not trust my children with no one but them . Its kids that come clothes too little , might be dirty , hungry and the directors at Nannys would make sure they take care of those children without making parents feel bad , i have witness Ms. Diane let parents who couldn’t afford childcare but needed to work , still bring their children because she understands the struggle . They care more about thr bond with family making sure everyone is safe and when their is a problem they will get to thr bottom of it take ownership and solve it . Nannys has been open 20 years we have kids who use to go their have babies and bring their kids or send their grandkids . Kids who were their 20 years ago reaching out sending graduation impacts because that thr type of impact Nannys have a big ol family. No center is perfect but Nannys comes close to it , Ms, Diane goes over and beyond for her center and anyone connected to it . Some days are better than the next Nannys might not be a fit for everyone is that is okay , it’s a successful black owned business that will be around forever . Thank you for caring and loving me and my four beautiful children Journee , Josiah , John and Jordin all started at 6 weeks . There is no place like home i am grateful to have been apart of the Nannys family thank you for tht good bad and ugly nobody is perfect 😍. Keep up the good work , from the clean playground , center , toys excellent food and way you care for others children’s like your own . Cheers to 20 more year #MrsWoods

I can not speak high enough praises for Nanny's! The search for a safe daycare with people who actually care is such an overwhelming experience for parents and I feel so lucky to have found them. My daughter has been going there for two years and it has been such a positive experience for us both. Every single person in that building is kind hearted and full of love for the children. My child is constantly engaged and actively learning. They are always doing fun learning activities with the kids and partner with jumpstart and have them come to the center to work with the kids on kindergarten prep. They always go above and beyond for my daughter and all the kids there. My child sometimes gets overwhelmed because she has sensory sensitives and I have seen them go out of their way to accommodate her so she feels welcomed and safe. When we had a death in our family Nanny's reached out and asked how can they help us. That honestly touched my heart because it was such and kind gesture and so far above and beyond what we would have experienced anywhere. I could probably write a 10 page review on their kindness and dedication to the children and their families. Nanny's has been around for 20 years and are still thriving because of the wonderful family environment they have created and it will be bittersweet when my daughter goes the kindergarten this year. They are such a blessing to the community.

My daughter went to Nanny's from the time she was six weeks old until she started school. Can't say enough good things about the team at Nanny's. The teachers all treated her like their own, and I never worried when I left her each day. She loved going to the daycare and loved her teachers. They treated her and me like we were family, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare. If I have any other children, I will definitely be back at Nanny's!

As a first time mother, I was of course anxious about my baby going to daycare. However, Nanny’s Early Learning Center has put my mind to ease since day 1. All the staff, from administration to the room teachers, care so deeply about the kiddos that attend. They make sure to follow the routine that YOU want your child to have. They are genuinely excited whenever your child meets a new developmental goal. They also have excellent daily communication. Nanny’s feels like family now, and I’m so grateful to have them care for my son.
