Nabor House Community

My son used to attend Neighbor House Community Daycare when he was younger, and he truly enjoyed being there. I never had any issues during our time with them, and I always felt comfortable and confident leaving my child in their care. The director and teachers are very kind, caring, and supportive. I’m truly grateful for everything they did to help me, and I always recommend this daycare to other moms looking for a safe and loving environment for their kids.

I took my child who was 7-8 months old at the time that couldn’t walk yet. I told several staff that because the floors are hard please watch him carefully. The staff in the baby room said they understood but I knew they didn’t care for my instructions plus wasn’t sure if they understood me fully because some only spoke Spanish. I pulled aside the director or manager not sure what the title was but she was a higher position & told her what I said. She said she understood but I wanted her to translate to the people who work with him so they understand before I leave. She translated & they said ok. I ended up getting a photo of my son with a big bruise on his forehead & near his eye stating that he hit his face on the book shelf. I called Gia immediately who did my on boarding. She didn’t see the photo & said she didn’t even know what happened. She asked the worker what happened & she told me that he hit his face on the bookshelf because the staff needed to clean up. I said something around the lines of why would they not watch him if they agreed to make sure he’s watched when standing up. She said to me that kids are kids they will get hurt & bite. It’s kids. Well my child couldn’t walk… talk… that statement is invalid because what do you mean kids are kids when he smacked his head on the shelf because the staff clearly ignored my instructions instead of just strapping him into a chair or something? Gia didn’t care at all & down played the situation. I ask her did you see the photo? She said no & I told her look. She looked at the photo & said something around the lines of wow it looks like he was thrown on the floor based off the photo you were sent It doesn’t look that bad in person but it looks bad….. yeah I know that’s why I called. Very heartless people. I can’t believe that’s how the staff responded. Invalidating me just to tell me in the end the photo I was sent looked horrible is messed up. The staff did not care about my instructions. I didn’t want to make a review but I’m still highly upset on how they treated me & my child. My fears before I left was right. They didn’t care about what I said hence why I asked for a higher position to verify they understood so it’s proof they understand!!! I’m more upset at the fact that Gia spoke me as if it wasn’t a big deal & didn’t care. This is a church… I thought church’s preach kindness, understanding, hearing others, & more but that’s not these type of people.

Nabor House was a true blessing when my child was there. They were always so understanding and flexible. Mrs.Rhonda was my child’s teacher/care taker and she did an incredible job with my child. She taught manners, letters, numbers, language skills, and so many more developmental skills that have helped for real school. She was the absolute best and sweetest with all of the children. She really cared. I will always be grateful for this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Nabor House has been nothing but a beacon of peace. My experience with the staff has always been amazing, they are empathetic, respectful, and full of integrity. The teachers are dedicated, and loving. My favorite part is how they teach with so much patience and fun! I truly recommend this Daycare center, especially to those struggling to find affordable care all while receiving the best education.

I feel very blessed that my children are in this daycare because they are a family, they give us emotional support when we need child as parents I overcame a depression thanks to the love and listening of the staff, they take care of our little ones with a lot of love and affection. my wish was that there were many Nabor house around this world. Thank you 🙏❤️🥰 The whole team is wonderful and overflows with the presence of God! Thank you God for blessed us with nabor house🙏❤️
