Myra'S Learning Kids Academy LLC

My son has been going to this daycare for over a year. Its a small, cute and intimate daycare. The staff has many years of expertise of dealing with small children and as a first time mom this was extremely beneficial to me. My son is always so excited to come in & start his day. They do a lot of cute crafts with him. They have been very patient & understanding with his medical needs as well. They truly have a love and passion for what they do. The kids are ready for pre-k and kindergarten when they reach the appropriate age. My son gets the attention and love that need. I feel like family. I absolutely love it.

For one the teacher to kid ratio is not acceptable under NC state standards. The two staff workers are over worked with not enough help to cover the many children that go there. Also the layout inside for the children is under cramped conditions with barely enough room for all the children, Especially babies being it’s only two - three cribs inside, & the older kids are cramped on one side of the “in home” daycare. The two staff workers deserve better working conditions as well as the many kids in a cramped space. Myra the owner is very unprofessional & in my opinion has no integrity. However the two staff members are really nice & are a joy to work with. Keep in mind their are no outside or inside cameras & no locks on the “mini gate” where you enter or exit & in my experience I have never walked into a locked front door it’s always open & accessible for people to just walk In where your kids are which never sat right with me. I want my kids to be secure & locked in safely once I leave their presence for hours on in, not accessible to the dangers of this crazy world. For 150 a week in my opinion that is way to expensive for this daycare. Research first so that you can find better for your child. For the amount she request a week or for a few more dollars your child can go to an actual daycare facility. My suggestion is to look into all daycare options in your area prior to making a decision. After all your child deserves the best or at least the closest to it.

Myra's Learning Kid's Academy is a great daycare center. Mrs. Myra is the owner and she is awesome and caring and you can really tell that she loves working with the children and the employees love working there as well. Everyone is very professional and my child truly grew in many area's and enjoyed being there.

Very clean environment for children. Wonderful staff for the children and their development. Excellent responsiveness, I was in a bind with the new the new move from Virginia, new job, and no childcare. Myra's Learning Kids Academy took my children right in and the application process was a breeze as well, Whoo-hoo!! My children and I both love this child care facility. Thank you all, from my family to your Academy and staff!

Every time I come here to pick up my cousin, they always have one little boy locked down in a chair, with no food or nothing, or he is stuck in a crib drinking water out of a bottle while all of the other little kids are running around playing. They used to do this to my cousin, but they stopped. Also there are to many kids for only two teachers at a time.
