My Very Own School

My five-year-old was in pre-K at My Very Own School this past year and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Ms. Danielle, the owner and principal, has always been wonderful to deal with. she takes pride in her school, which can be shown through the quality of the teachers and staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the dedication to each child. My Very Own School fosters an atmosphere of learning and fun. We will miss the teachers including Miss Tiphany, Miss Erika and everyone else at the school. Thank you for keeping my child safe and helping him to learn and grow. We love you guys!

We absolutely love My Very Own School! Three of my children have graduated from the Pre-K class there, and they were all more than prepared for Kindergarten. The owner, Miss Danielle, is absolutely wonderful. If we ever had any questions, she always responded immediately, and with the kindest personality. The teachers, Miss Tiphanie & Miss Erika, were amazing! They truly cared for all of their students, and were also terrific at communicating with parents at drop off & pick up. Our children also enjoyed the various activities that MVOS had to offer, especially Kids Zumba with Miss Judy, and The Fun Bus! MVOS is always very clean, and smells very clean. So if you are looking for a daycare or preschool for your children…look no further…My Very Own School is the BEST!

Absolutely loved it, such an amazing staff with great heart and caring. The first school I have seen my daughter soo happy to go in and dont want to leave home at the end of the day you know it's an amazing place and the improvement in your child is priceless. Great place, safe, fun and loving environment, very thankful to Mrs. Danielle and her staff at My Very Own School, keep on the great work that you ladies do 🤗.

My daughter has been attending My Very Own School, for almost a year now. She started just after her second birthday. I originally put her in there for day care, as I was planning on going back to work. This is an amazing school. Unlike some of the other day cares I looked at, this is a very curriculum based day care/school. She has learned so much, it is amazing. My daughter has speech therapy (which she quickly phased out of due to her progress from the therapy and school combo), and her speech therapist had to attend to the school due to schedule conflicts a couple times. The speech therapist was IMPRESSED with the way the teachers handle the kids. She said that it was the best day care she's seen!! That to me was the best and most reassuring feeling ever! I would never think twice about sending any of my future kids to My Very Own School!!

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Ms. Sheila and the teachers at My Very Own School. From the curriculum to the extra activities they hold for the children, everything is developed to nurture and enhance the children's sense of discovery and joy. At age two my son is able to sing the alphabet, distinguish between different colors, and count up to ten without any help. This, I know, is because of what he is learning at My Very Own School. Ms. Sheila and the teachers are so attentive to not only the children, but the parents as well. When I was going through a financial hardship and on the verge of losing my son's full time status at the daycare, Ms. Sheila worked with me and assured me that taking my son out of daycare as a full timer was never an option. I have never felt so heard, understood and cared about. I can not stress enough about how wonderful My Very Own school is and what a blessing to have them in our lives. I highly recommend this daycare to all of my friends and neighbors.
