We were lost and broken from our last church experience. Munsey welcomed us with open arms and invited me to sing with the choir. We have made so many friends and have grown spiritually. Thank you church. God leads to where you need to be.
This church has great youth programs. The Sunday school classes for adults are good too. You can learn a lot from both Sunday School Cass and the preachers sermon. Munsey has a traditional service and contemporary service with praise team band. They help less fortunate people of downtown and surrounding Johnson City TN. They run a kitchen to help with breakfast and the melting pot ministry.
This is what a church should be! People are welcoming, genuinely interested in each other, and supportive. No one expects you to look, talk, or think like anyone else.
I don't attend the Church. I go to the Melting Pot. It opens 8:00am-11:30 M-F Saturday at 7:00am for breakfast Even though it is not the safest place to be, it does provide a gathering place to get out of the weather, network and have a hot meal Primarily they provide lunch for the handicap living in The John Sevier Apartments
