Our daughter has officially attended Mt. Zion for a year and I can't put into words what this place means to my family. She originally started in BVSD Early Connections, which we loved, however it closed. We then went to a corporate daycare posing as a Montessori school in downtown Boulder and it was a harrowing, depressing, and expensive experience. Mt. Zion was recommended by a friend and they were able to enroll our daughter quickly at an extremely stressful time. Mt. Zion is by far the best choice our family has ever made in the interest of our daughter. What sets Mt. Zion apart is the LOVE. They truly love the children they care for. The teachers have all been in their positions at the school for upwards of 10 years and are experts in their field. I have also been a teacher for over 10 years, and can attest to the high quality of early childhood education and social emotional learning they offer here. The care, dedication, and energy they put into their craft is unmatched. They lovingly hold expectations for behavior so that the children are able to engage positively, naturally, and respectfully with each other. My daughter adores all of the teachers and her friends, and it is amazing to me how much she learns every day. She is ALWAYS excited to go to school. I know there can be some "mom guilt" surrounding childcare - this is a place where I know that I am truly ENRICHING my daughter's development and surrounding her with love, learning, and positive socialization. We are so grateful! The Mt. Zion community will always be a part of our family. :)
I grew up Lutheran in the midwest and was looking for a church in Boulder. Pastor Anderson is the real deal, runs a very nice service and relates to every parishioner. Great vocalist/singer! The people here are very friendly and accommodating. I get a very nice feeling inside after visiting Mt. Zion. No matter your religious affiliation, I highly recommend this church.
We are so incredibly thankful we found Mt. Zion! After touring countless daycares in the area, I left most visits feeling defeated and discouraged (& in tears). But the moment I walked into Mt. Zion and met the staff, I felt instant relief — I knew we had found the right place. Now, a few months in, I can say with total confidence that we made the best decision for our daughter. She absolutely loves going to school. She lights up with excitement every morning when we pull up to the roundabout near school, and it’s clear how much she adores her teacher. What’s even more special is that every staff member knows her by name — it’s such a warm, welcoming community. The love, care, and attention she receives is the greatest gift we could ask for. Mt. Zion has given our daughter a joyful, nurturing start to her learning journey, and we truly cannot recommend them enough.
We couldn't be happier here. Our family has had experience with two in-home care providers and two other centers and this place takes the cake. Teachers are caring, friendly, wholesome and dedicated. The facility is safe, quiet, and spacious. The class ratios are small and the kids always seem well behaved and happy. We've seen enough to know that this does not happen by chance.
My son went to this preschool for almost seven months and he absolutely loved it. He learnt a lot. The teachers are very caring and friendly. I definitely recommend it.
