The pastor of this church came into my church home at Mount Zion Baptist as a guest pastor this past Sunday. Pastor Craig---you came into a place of worship and chose to spew hate, ignorance, and homophobia to its congregants. I found your sermon to be disgustingly inappropriate and rooted in ego, and I removed myself and my family within 10 minutes of you speaking. You couldn't even hear the message of the Word because of the hate you willingly chose to bring on the Lord's day. The hypocrisy and hate that continues to taint Christianity and Black communities will further remove generations to come from this religion. We are all made in His image, and we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. God's love is fully inclusive, and no amount of your bias or own personal struggle with identity will change that. I wish you and Mt. Pilgrim grace, and I pray that you will experience in your lifetime the beauty of being one with yourself.
