Wonderful people who care about each other. Pastor is super knowledgeable and loves the Lord. He preaches bible sermons that everyone needs to hear and apply to their life. Choir and praise singers are great. My church has an outstanding youth group of children of all ages and a youth pastor who invests his time with them. It's definitely a church you would want to be a part of.
I first attended MHBC on Sunday, September 22, 2024, wherein I immediately transferred my membership from Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, Apopla, Florida, to MHBC, and handed Senior Pastor, Steve Chromy my tithe check in the amount of $121.50. On September 30, 2024, I fell, broke my right hip, and underwent half-hip replacement surgery on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. I have telephoned Senior Pastor, Steve Chromy twice, and he has not responded, neither by return telephone call, nor by visit to me in Sovah Health-Danvile. When I was discharged from Sovah Health-Danville on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, I left another voicemail on Senior Pastor Steve Chromy's office telephone. Senior Pastor Steve Chromy has NOT responded to my 2 voicemails I left for him on his MHBC office telephone. BTW, the tithe check cleared my bank last week (Wells Fargo emails me of all activity on all my accounts). Churches want your money, but do NOT want to provide their pastoral duties. 😭 🙏
I go to church to hear the truth of the Bible, to be offended and have my feet stepped on so that I can grow to be more like Jesus.Our minister teaches and preaches from the Bible and goes deep into the verses that gives me understanding that I would otherwise not get. I realize finally that I am needy and that God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit can teach me and allow me to draw closer to my savior. As Proverbs teaches me I am a better person to take criticism or instruction if I learn and grow from it and not get mad about the truth of it. I appreciate that at Mt Hermon church I m getting the things I need to grow as a CHRISTIAN to help me be a better husband, father, friend, neighbor and person.
This is a wonderful place to share your faith. Lots of young enthusiast families as well as older worshippers. The pastor is a dynamic speaker. Truly inspiring.
