I only have good words to say about mt.calvary. I researched a number of preschools in the area and mt calv outshined the rest. I love the big bright classrooms and the teacher to student ratio. Also, the fact that there’s minimal turnover and teachers have been there forever! If preschools offer extended day most only do it until 2 or 3. Mt Calv will stay open until 4. The stay and play is drop in and an hourly rate. One you can’t really beat ( any nanny or sitter would be more). They also provide snacks for the kids which is one less thing to worry about. What’s really nice is they do 3 parents night out per year. A couple of them are planned around Christmas shopping and Valentine’s Day. Things that make I sense for most people and a huge perk for parents!
This is an amazing place. Both my sons have attended this preschool and my younger son is in his last year there (of 3 years). It is a loving, caring and safe place. Both my sons love school and have made wonderful friends there. We love the chapel services and the focus on Jesus. Many families who send their children here are not Christian and it is a welcoming place for anyone and everyone. We were looking for a Christian preschool and travel from Hudson. We are so glad to have found this joyful and caring preschool. The children do wonderful art projects and the focus is on play, but my children have also learned a great deal about subjects such as space. There is a great playground and the classrooms are big and bright and cheerful. The teachers and staff are excellent and flexible and accomodating. I could go on and on. This is a great preschool and a wonderful community.
Mt. Calvary Preschool has been far and away one of the best decisions we've made for our 4-year-old. The teachers are extremely qualified, caring and committed; there isn't the typical turnover you see with preschools and daycare centers (his new teacher is on her 30th year there). They really do want to be at MCCS and are treated so well by the (amazing) Director and leadership team. The program is also very flexible with an affordable "stay and play" program for families that need afternoon care. Our son's classroom had a blend of full-time working, part-time working and stay-at-home parents, and all could find the right amount of care that worked for them. The community at large is a warm and caring one, full of kind-hearted and sincerely good people. We love this school and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a local preschool!
MCCS is such a great place for my son to be. He is loved, nurtured and taken care of to the point that he wants to go to school even on weekends! They have an amazing staff that will help your child grow beautifully in a very safe environment. The school is very flexible with your childcare needs and offer programs that can be tailored to suit you. I have met students who passed out from MCCS 5 years ago and 15years ago and they all have nothing but good things to say about the school, its staff and administration. You will not regret choosing them.
This is the best school! We’ve traveled around a lot and sent our 3 kids to several different schools, and this is one of our favorites. The staff is so kind and knowledgable, and great with our kids. The stay and play option is also so flexible and a huge plus for our family. Highly recommend!
