Mt Airy Day Care Center

Mt. Airy Daycare's teachers, paras, and administrative staff have been absolutely wonderful during the time my daughter went to school there. At this school our daughter was with wonderful teachers who developed her skills in empathy, conflict resolution, self-advocacy, and being kind but firm. My wife and are and thankful that our daughter spent here formative years at Mt. Airy Daycare. Students are protected and nurtured by not just good teachers (like Ms. Maggie, Devyn, Margie, Sandy, Abby, and so many more), but also good people. I'm a parent and also a teacher.

We sent our daughter here to the Pre-K 2s class this year. We absolutely loved everyone we have met at the center. Everyone is friendly, genuine, and very warm and welcoming! Ms.Jeanie is normally in the front to welcome you every morning with a cheery smile, help you sign in, and answers any questions with ease. They all make your children feel as comfortable as possible, and the parents too. If you are lucky enough to get Mrs.Margie for your children’s teacher, you will not be disappointed. She takes such great care of every single child in her classroom and somehow makes it look easy! She is extremely attentive, caring and truly loves what she is doing. We will miss her so much and we are crossing our fingers she will still be there when we have more kids! Highly recommend!

My son and daughter have been taught under the staff at MADLC (both for two years each). Both have grown and gained so much knowledge and confidence from their time under their supervision. The family environment fostered at MADLC is unparalleled and one my children were eager to come to each day, which speaks volumes to a parent. The staff truly care about each individual child, the lessons challenge them to think and learn creatively, and the facility is clean, updated, and a great center for hands-on learning and social interaction! It is very clear the staff are focused on quality care and a curriculum that prepares each child for elementary school and beyond. When many new staff members transitioned to this facility from our previous, we followed without question. MADLC is an absolutely fabulous preschool in Mount Airy and has truly been the greatest foundation to my kids as they've started their academic careers!

Loving and nurturing environment for my son!! He is so happy in Ms.Maggies class. We will be entering year two with her in the fall. He is going to be so prepared for K-- socially, emotionally and academically. So much learning and play going on, very happy to have a place here at Madlc!!

I’d avoid this place. Unfortunately management has changed. This place has gone from a gem to an absolute nightmare. We were going to send them to MADLC for before and after school care, but we will be pulling them out now. Members if the old staff keep quitting… wonder why…… My previous review…. My wife and I can not speak highly enough about Mt Airy Daycare Center. Everything is wonderful. It was a long wait to get a spot so our girls were in a small home daycare prior. Centers were just too expensive and were "extra". When they started at Mt Airy, we immediately learned how much they could actually pickup and learn in the right setting. Mt Airy mixes the personality and real-ness of a home provider with the structure and education of a center. Its a gem that we were lucky to stuble upon. The staff are wonderful. They are real people and genuinely like what they do. I have never once gotten the sense that someone was fake or was putting on a front like at some centers ive been to.
