Mrs. Os Learning Academy

I’ve seen many negative reviews and I personally have never had a single bad experience here and have nothing but great things to say. I started my son here in 2022 when he was 7 weeks old and now he is 2.5 and I have my 7 month old daughter here as well. I have never felt like my kids were in danger or unsafe here. I have been intentional on getting to know my kids teachers and all the directors. The communication is 10/10 and they always do a fabulous job sending me pictures and updates of both of my babies throughout the day. My son gets so excited to go to daycare and see his friends and teachers. He even runs to his teachers and friends for a hug when he sees them. My daughter smiles at everyone who loves on her and especially her teachers. Everyone treats my babies like one of their own and it shows in how my babies react to them. They reach out to me immediately if one of them gets hurt or if something happened or they get sick. They have helped potty train my son and have even showed me some tips and tricks with things I didn’t even know(first time mom). It’s always so clean and organized and I have been very pleased with the care Mrs.O’s has provided for my two kids. We love it there.

I’m a social worker for a hospital and I have sent many different people with different conditions/backgrounds/illnesses to many different facilities throughout Lubbock and New Mexico. Sometimes those people return to the hospital with either a horrible or absolutely amazing experience/stories from the previous facility. I always get asked by family members “if it was you where would you send them?” And I always tell them about the differences in opinions I have received and we won’t know how they will like the facility until/if they try it. I have read some pretty disturbing reviews on here that I pray were resolved and peace has been brought to the writers, but also ones with love and appreciation. I didn’t read reviews before enrolling because I knew there would be bad ones, we just called and had a tour and have loved it since. My son has had a few accidents here and there (as a new toddler would) but he is learning so much and the staff adores him just as he adores them. We have had maybe a handful of bad drop offs where he cries and doesn’t want me to leave, but 98% of the time he is excited to walk in the classroom and sit in his little chair and wait for breakfast. They feed him well, keep him safe, and have called me or messaged me anytime something happens whether it’s his mood seems a bit different than usual, he needs more clothes (tummy bugs are no joke lol) or if he hurts himself no matter how minor. My son has never shown any signs that he is not being treated with love and kindness and I have a strong peace of mind when I’m at work that he is okay.

I love Mrs. O’s!! I was so nervous about transitioning my little one from a family member to a daycare, but the Mrs. O’s staff made me feel comfortable from the beginning. They were patient and always welcoming! I love getting pictures during the day of my baby girl learning and having so much fun. I also love that she learns about Jesus! This daycare was the answer to my prayers! I would recommend Mrs. O’s to anyone looking for a place their child will be loved and taken care of.

I have had good interactions with Todd one of the owners. My interactions with the director were alright. Their problem solving skills aren't the best and mainly involve putting your child in a high chair for x amount of time, not supervising the children and blaming a 3 year old for the reason that they are loosing too many employees. Honestly I should have moved daycares when I had the chance. I walked in today to pick my son up and he was in the room being held down by the staff. I have had to pick my son up on so many occasions and felt as if I was the one to blame for them having too many kids and being understaffed. I had really high expectations for this childcare center but have been let down.

We love Mrs. Os! Great staff and clean environment. I love how structured their schedule is, and how they keep you in the loop of the curriculum learned weekly. They have made improvement on my sons potty training in just 2 weeks, then his previous daycare he went to for a year. I highly recommend!
