What Parents Say
Mountville Childcare Center has received overwhelmingly positive reviews, with most parents praising the staff's warmth, professionalism, and communication, particularly since new management took over in February 2021. However, one parent reported serious concerns including inadequate supervision, safety issues, unprofessional staff conduct, and an unexplained bruise on their child.
We love this daycare! The entire staff is wonderful. We have a baby in the infant room but every employee we come in contact with regardless of which room they work in is nice and helpful. I love getting photos and videos in the app, and the staff is quick to send me a message and communicate if there's something I need to know. Very happy our baby is here and highly recommend!
This daycare did a complete 360 when new management took over, I could give them 10 stars if I could. My daughter just started kindergarten, & we miss everyone here but for the time I was taking her to mountville, they were the absolute best. I couldn’t recommend them enough, if you’re looking for a daycare, this is the one.
The day care center has been under new management since February 1st 2021. Amazing new changes, all for the better. The staff is very professional and always greet the children with a smile when they arrive. I would highly recommend this center for anyone looking for care.
Today was my 18 month old daughter's first and last day at this daycare. I was worried about her attending daycare and voiced that to the owner in the am. The kids were sitting in highchair' in front of a t.v. when we arrived but we brushed it off as oh it's only 7:15am. Against our initial better judgement we left her. The owner told my husband and I to feel free to call and check on her anytime so my husband called in the afternoon and the woman he spoke to sounded a irritated. Again brushed it off as us being panicky or paranoid parents but when we picked her up she and 3 other youngster's were infront of a tv yet again. We weren't asked for any ID, non of the 2 woman knew who we were, one asked for my child's name then pointed her out to the other and she proceeded to hand her to us. My child clung to her dad with her eyes seemingly red from crying. I attempted to discuss how her day went with a woman who couldn't understand me then shrugged her shoulder and got another woman who was clueless and just as unprofessional as the 1st. My daughter has a bruise on her face and to add insult to injury when the supervisor Ashley and I spoke after I asked if she can give me a call, Ashley the supervisor tells me that they were unaware that things were going on that way, sorry the $75 fee is nonrefundable and tells me there was no injury during care yet wasn't there for most of the day and admitted she was unaware of how it was being run. Oh and one of the workers was leaving as I was awaiting a lyft and was dragging her own child out of the daycare into her car as the child pulled away from her and proceeded to run through the parking lot as the worker was talking on her phone. I can go on ranting for an hour with a few other issues but I'm going to leave this here. Just know I will be doing my best to figure out whom I have to contact to report this place and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for their pets let alone their children!!!!!
New management there are two of my favorite ladies there Victoria and Jenna so loving and caring for the children they tend to there needs the children take to them you can see the compassion for the children when you walk in the door
