I was strung out pretty bad and stranded 1000 miles from home new years eve 2021. Walking for days arguing with God and testing him, asking for sign after sign even though I wasn't looking at the ones in front of me. Had to be after midnight when I walked by this church. I walked to the back by the scouts cabin and there was a folded Spartans hoodie outside. (Sorry if you're missing it) I put it on to stay warm and turned around to see an electrical closet that was open in back of the church. A light was on so I went and checked it out. It was empty other than a heater and some electrical boxes. I was just kind of looking around and asking God for a sign still. I thought maybe he wanted me to pose as the electrician. I know. Literally coocoo. Anyway I open a breaker box and all but one of the breakers were off which is weird because the heater worked when I plugged it in . The breaker that was on said "sign" next to it. That's when I realized. I didn't accept it yet but i knew..... I grabbed some keys and supplies and a folded plastic bag maybe to cover my face because of covid lol. Ridiculous, not fooling anyone. I puzzled about with the keys until people showed up. And I decided maybe this idea wasn't a good one. Maybe i should accept that ive made some bad choices and need a reset. So I asked to use a phone to turn myself in. Spent a few weeks in jail in the medical pod. I definitely dont have my life turned around but i havent gone back to that crap .This church saved my life. Thanks for lending your heater. And thanks for leaving the sign on . I now am one of those people who can say I know for a FACT that Christ is my salvation. No matter how bad it gets I'll never be there again. Hope is real. I was thinking back on this moment and realized I'd never thanked you guys. So I went through all the churches and this one was the last one on the list in Mountain Brook. In my opinion it should be first. God bless you 🙏

Such a welcoming church in the Mountain Brook community. All around this place is fantastic. You can feel like your home when you visit here. I sure did. The pastor is nothing but superb. I would highly recommend if you were in search of a church to try here.

I'm the UPS delivery man ,I've met the staff and pastor on different occasions and there always friendly also take breaks and meet other drivers in parking lot ,never any issues also the church setting is beautifully set on bottom of a hill nestled between the tress and nice walking paths

Attended a funeral here. Beautiful stained glass windows. The church hosted a magnificent reception after the service.
