Mount Olive Christian Academy has mixed reviews. Three parents praised it as a great place with awesome staff and a nice quiet setting. However, two parents reported serious concerns including inattentive staff on phones, lack of security cameras, physical injuries to children, poor management response, and allegations of discriminatory treatment.
The ladies taking care of my child did a very bad job. They were always on their phones and didn’t have cameras there. They gave me a bad attitude, and I saw my son in a swing with the straps way too tight, making him look uncomfortable and sad. He also had scratches on his leg, and the owner Lee Ann said it could’ve been from playing, but he was only there for 3 weeks again they didn’t have cameras so she had no proof that someone did that to him and my son only wore pants. I really didn’t like what I saw or experienced. The lady that specifically gave me an attitude her name was Paulette she is the mother in law of the owner Lee Ann. When I spoke to Lee Ann instead of being understanding she was just very aggressive and upset that I was telling her what was happening with my child and me telling her how I felt about all this she told me this day care just isn’t the right fit for me and that there just told me everything.
My daughter was in this daycare for about 8 months. Horrible service. The floater she had was Ms. Paulette. Horrible woman. This day care treated my daughter so ugly. Idk, maybe it’s because she was black. All I have to say is if your child is black, you better make sure she’s treats all the white kids with the up most respect even if they mistreat her. Doesn’t matter make sure there is no problems between her or him and the white kids. I don’t advise no one to use their services. Oh and Ms. Lynn, the director, shameful. If their was a Star For 0, they would have received that instead of the one star. Oh my daughter did learn something while attending this daycare. WHITE PRIVILEGE !!!!!!!!!! Also, She didn't even learn how to write her first name, when I switched her to LUV N CARE, LOCATED IN DUDLEY, NC, SHE LEARNED HOW TO WRITE HER NAME WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH. SHE DID LEARN HOW TO COLOR WITHIN THE LINES AT THE CENTER, BUT THAT WAS IT.
