Swim instructors for babies and toddlers are amazing. The parent & child swim lessons are great!
$15 for a day pass at the YMCA is just unacceptable. How much money does Joe and Marie need to profit off of this racket? Obviously, they don’t want a majority of the community to be able to afford this place
I was visiting this Y as I was traveling on business. (My home YMCA is in upstate NY). Taria and Halley at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. The outdoor pool is fantastic. It was not crowded at midday. I was able to swim 1.2 miles alone in a lane. The lifeguards are very attentive and welcoming. The men’s locker room is in very good condition. I highly recommend this YMCA.
This is honestly the best place to work out and have your kids be monitored. I am a former preschool teacher and I was happy to see that employees their are perfectly trained. I did few hours of volunteering for the community and I'm happy to see how organized everything is. The employees welcomed me with open arms and the kids are just amazing little busy bodies that had your time go by fast. Gage Daniel Sports & Volunteer Coordinator is honestly most helpful and down to earth, he made sure all my tasks were done. I recommend working here full time if your interested and I also recommend if you want to work out and leave your kids here your in great hands.
It's a good family place. Not the best but a good place. If anything shines, it is the staff. They alone are worth the membership. I joined. Revision to this review. After time and I became more familiar with the YMCA, I canceled my membership. I originally got the membership to swim in the Summer. However, the pool was always closed. So my kids used the pool 0 (zero) times this last Summer. The staff for the gym all operate on different philosophies, rules and regs. It became stressful and intimidating for us all. My kids stopped wanting to go. We now exercise at the local schools. So sad to have to give a negative review to a place that has such great potential.
