Wonderful organization! I had brand new twin bunk beds still in the box that I donated since it turned out that they weren’t the right fit for my kids. These folks not only picked up the donation, but delivered it to a family in need right after picking it up from my house so this family could have beds for their children. They are coming back to pick up another bed tomorrow. They do all the heavy lifting, use their own time, personal vehicles and gas on a WEEKEND just to make sure families in need are taken care of. Everyone I have worked with and spoken to has a heart of gold and they do so much for our local community. I encourage everyone who has beds to donate give them a call. They do everything they can to supply gently used beds to people who call in need. Many people don’t know this, but social services can remove children just because parents can’t afford a bed for their child. Call and ask for Ms. Linda. She is such an angel!
I love what this this place does and encourage people to donate to them but every time I shop there I get charged extra at the register and it does not matter that I point out the prices on the signs. I want to help others but not by being ripped off.
This place has become nothing but overpriced donated items....anything name brand is $10 minimum when used to be couple bucks for shirts and pants....they have gotten so greedy it used to be such a good spot for the community and I would tell everyone to donate there but after my recent visit it's like the Ebay check price everything....plain white tank tops aka wife beaters were $3 each....such a shame I will not be returning nor donating...I'll donate to the church on old 261 that actually gives the clothes to people in need
Best thrift store prices in town, with nice items, likely due to the affluent area making donations. The shop is staffed by volunteers, and it is a religious organization. They are motivated to help the community moreso than to make sales and satisfy individual customers, and they will offer you a written blessing in your bag whether you ask for it or not. If you can accept those things, you will likely find this a gem of a thrift store.
Me and my mother were at one of the harder times that we have been in financially in the last decade and the food bank really helped us out today. I plan on donating for sure as I get things back together Lord willing. I sure appreciate the very kind lady that took me through the food bank today and the very kind man who took my mother through I hope God bless you all beyond belief and I love what you all do there!
