Mother Duck Learning Center

We've had our kids with Mother Duck for over three years now and they've been fantastics with our kids. I'm continuely impressed with what my children are learning at daycare and the skills they've developed. The teacher do a fantastic job. The past year or so Jenn has stepped into a leadership role at Mother Duck and her impact has been amazing. The level of effort and care she puts into her work shows and is appreciated. I've loved the additon of parties or celbrations that parents can be a part of. I'd recommend Mother Duck to anyone looking for childcare in the area.

This is pretty much the perfect daycare. My child has been here 3 years, I think he's been well prepared for kindergarten, made a lot of friends, and likes the teachers. There are lots of family events that get parents involved, like decorating heart shaped cookies on Valentine's Day and the pumpkin patch. The daycare is also really dependable. Schools are more likely to close because of weather than them. Tuition is reasonable and stable. I checked on Childcare Aware at one point and they were average for the region. Since then tuition has not changed (it went down as my son aged but followed the rate sheet we received 3 years ago: toddlers 380, preschool/pre-K 380). Pretty wild given inflation. The student body is diverse also. Nearly half the kids in my child's class are Black or Asian, and I believe most have been there more than a year.

We have had a top notch experience at Mother Duck! The teachers are so caring and the admin staff is very attentive. We felt extremely welcomed at this school and felt at peace each day knowing our child was in the best hands. We can’t recommend this school enough!! If you want a school where every teacher knows your name, administration who truly cares about your family, and classrooms full of creativity, love and joy, send your child to Mother Duck!

We have had a great experience here. The staff have all been so good to our son, and we know he is well taken care of each day. I appreciate that they are willing to try some strategies if they can tell he is teething before calling for a pick-up. The director, Jen, is very hands-on and helps out when needed. Our experience in the infant room has been great.

We have been going to Mother Duck for over three years. Recently, due to a job change had to switch daycare centers. This decision was heartbreaking for our family. We truly loved sending our girls here, and they loved going. When we first toured the center, we were told it was like a family, that the parents got to know each other and there was a real community feel to it. This is absolutely true! Not only will our girls miss their friends, but we will miss seeing all the parents each day as well. The teachers and staff were always engaging and dedicated to teaching and caring for our kids. They have fun themed days and events throughout the year that the kids love. I've never felt anything lacking at this center and am grateful that my children got the chance to learn, explore and grow in their time there.
