Very irresponsible application of pesticide in a residential neighborhood. A blower-type machine was used to actively disperse bifenthrin into the air. Due to wind conditions, the chemical drifted directly onto neighboring properties. No safety perimeter was established and no warning was given to nearby homes. Only minimal protective gear was worn. Dispersing bifenthrin into the air in a residential setting poses a risk to pets, elderly residents, children, and individuals with medical conditions such as allergies or asthma. It also raises serious concerns about environmental impact and harm to surrounding vegetation and wildlife that are important to the local ecosystem. This company should have stronger handling and drift-control protocols when applying pesticides — both for the safety of their own employees and for the protection of nearby residents and environmentally sensitive areas. Pesticides should not be allowed to drift into neighboring properties. This reflects poor safety judgment and a lack of consideration for the community.
