What a wonderful experience. My best friend and his daughter took me to church today while on vacation. The cushioned pews were comfortable. The building was beautiful inside and out. The choir had a beautiful tone. The structure was as impeccable and everything was laid out inside the bulletin. There was a nice gift at the front desk with a coffee mug that I will most certainly use. Felt welcomed and comfortable throughout the entire experience. 10/10 would recommend no notes. Shout out to Pastor Jeff! Great message on Mary and the first Sunday of advent!
There is a lot you can say about this church. I attend this church in high school, college, and into my mid 20s. It is a traditional church, with an uncommon gift for being an inviting community. The music is top notch and raises voices beautifully. The preaching is excellent, regardless of who is preaching. It is been that way for decades through many pastors. If you put the effort in to getting to know the community, you’ll find that you receive so much more in the end than what you put in. And for full disclosure, I only left the church to follow a call to ministry. And I wouldn’t be the pastor I am without this church.
I attended the Christmas Eve service 2024 this year. I try to attend every year. It’s so nice to gather with others in such a beautiful church to celebrate the birth of our savior! The singing from the attendees is loud enough to drown out my voice so I can sing as loud as I want! We hear a message to bring some light into a world that can seem dark at times. But, then the choir starts singing! It sends chills through me every year! It is absolutely beautiful! Every year when I go home I feel that attending that service is the closest I’ll get to heaven on this earth.
