Morning Star Child Development Center

We have been part of Morning Star Child Development Center for six months now, and we absolutely love it. As an educator myself for over 10 years, I am very particular about my children’s education, well-being, and positive daily experiences. My children are 2 and 4, and from the very beginning, MSCDC has exceeded my expectations. I have not had any concerns—only appreciation and admiration for the care and learning they provide. When searching for childcare, I had several non-negotiables: meaningful parent involvement, ample outdoor play, strong positive behavior reinforcement, and a whole-child approach to teaching. MSCDC not only meets these standards but goes above and beyond. In just six months, I’ve had at least ten opportunities to participate in my children’s learning and classroom fun—from parent/ teacher conferences to swimming lessons and a pumpkin patch field trip to a Thanksgiving dinner and play, holiday crafts, book readings, and seasonal potlucks. These experiences are invaluable, and I’m grateful to be included so often. The teachers are warm, attentive, and truly invested in the kids. My children are excited to go to school, and I see the positive impact on their confidence, social skills, and overall happiness. I do not have enough great things to say about Morning Star. Highly recommend!

Morning Star has truly been a second home for our family. Both of our children attended from just 8 weeks old all the way through aftercare, and we honestly couldn’t imagine sending them anywhere else. The staff is exceptional—kind, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children. They go above and beyond every day, and it shows in how comfortable, confident, and happy our kids have always been there. We especially love Morning Star’s intentional recognition and celebration of different cultures. Our children have learned so much—not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. They are exposed to “all the things” in a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Dropping our kids off always felt like leaving them with extended family. Morning Star has played such a meaningful role in our children’s early years, and we are incredibly grateful for the care, love, and foundation they’ve been given. Highly recommend to any family looking for a place where children are truly known, loved, and supported.

My baby has been at Morning Star since he was an infant, and we’ve loved every moment of it! The teachers in the baby room are so nurturing and genuinely love what they do — it really shows. The center follows the Reggio Emilia approach and the ateliersta is visiting the baby room regularly and spends time focusing on what he is interested in, which I love. Everything is super clean -hygiene is a big deal here-, and the table food for the babies is healthy and always different. I also love that my child can stay here all the way until the age of 12 because of their private Kindergarten, afterschool, and summer camp programs. Most importantly, they celebrate diversity in such a beautiful way. We’re so happy to be part of the Morning Star community — definitely recommend it to any parent looking for a loving and trustworthy place for their little one!

We brought our son here after not having a good experience at another daycare. Our child has had a much better experience at Morningstar and we can tell he is happy here. We absolutely love this place and appreciate the care the teachers provide. There is an impressively large playground outside tailored to different age groups and dedicated staff to music and art.

We have been with Morning Star since May of this year. All of the staff, Ms. Tara, Ms. Frieda, and Ms. Megan, to name a few, are always kind, courteous, and helpful. The teachers are wonderful, communicative, and truly love the children they work with on a daily basis. They also do a wonderful job of decorating the hallways with the children's artwork and seasonal decorations. It is a very welcoming place. Our family is grateful for them, and we cannot recommend them enough.
