My son started at Montessori Schoolhouse at age 4, but I wish I had sent him there earlier. The staff and campus are wonderful. My son quickly adapted to being at school full-time. He loved his teachers and made friends with classmates. His classmates' parents were caring and inclusive. The staff provided thoughtful feedback regarding my son's behavioral and academic progress. I always felt my child was safe, engaged, and happy here. I highly recommend Montessori Schoolhouse and am grateful my son had the opportunity to learn and grow there.
Our daughter started at Montessori Schoolhouse at 3.5 years old and attended for two years, including the summer programs. She began in Miss Rosella’s class and later moved to Mr. Carlos’, and in both she thrived. The entire staff is talented, professional, patient, and kind. They truly became like family to us. Our daughter made many friends, built wonderful memories, and absolutely loved her teachers. We can’t recommend Montessori Schoolhouse highly enough: a dedicated staff, great kids, and even a wonderful parent community make it a very special place.
Today is our daughter’s last day at Montessori Schoolhouse. She’s starting kindergarten next week. It’s so bittersweet, we will miss Mr. Carlos, Ms. Rosella, and Ms. Migdalia so much! Not to mention so many other teachers and staff (Melissa, Padmi, Jennifer, Connie, and so many more it’s impossible to list!) They have taken such wonderful care of our kiddo and truly felt like an extension of our family. We will be forever thankful we found this school! Thank you friends!
I've been meaning to leave this review for ages, this is hands down the best preschool for young kids. Our daughter started at two and had never been away from home before, she cried for maybe 5 minutes on her first day and raced out of the car to get to school every day after that. Ms. Rosella and Ms. Jennifer are angels, they're so sweet and protective of the kids. Ms. Rosella especially has that quality that children naturally gravitate towards. After the first week, our daughter wanted Rosella to come to our house to read her bedtime stories instead of us. She talks about her constantly. Our daughter has learned so much and is so much more confident and social. It's been great for her. At first I wasn't sure about the school because it isn't much to look at, it really does look like a house compared to the more modern preschools. But the kids are *so* happy and peaceful, it's exactly the kind of environment you'd want when your kids are away from home. There's very little turnover among the staff and it's very clean. Our daughter has barely had a sniffle this whole year which is shocking for daycare/preschool. Highly recommend!
Our daughter has been attending Montessori Schoolhouse for the past year and she has thrived. This is a true Montessori School with staff that have received real training in the Montessori method. They also offer flexible 3 days a week and part-time. I love that her day is a mix of free outdoor play and indoor classroom activities. And the toys and activities that they have are nice simple wooden toys and not plastic. During this year they added on an extension to the porch and now they have a full outdoor classroom and a paved tricycle "race track". The facilities are also located in a beautifully wooded area that is tucked away. The children have an opportunity to see deer, raccoons and other wildlife well they are at school which is so much fun for my daughter..
