What Parents Say
Montessori School of Fremont - Children's House is highly regarded by most parents for its authentic Montessori approach, holistic child development, and caring leadership under director Michelle Greiner. Parents praise the school's curriculum, community engagement, and supportive environment. However, a few negative reviews cite personal bad experiences and concerns about application fees.
This is one of the best and original Montessori school in Fremont. This place is still my son's favorite school and he still misses Miss Michelle. Miss Michelle is really good teacher and knows how to work with students in a gentle manner. Also, this is the only Montessori school that is AMS and follows the true Montessori principles. This place is underrated.
Our son began at “MCH” full time when he was 3.5 and we’re so grateful to have been part of the school and parent community. We have appreciated the curriculum and Montessori philosophy which grows with the child as they mature and develop. While 3, the focus was on concept development through play and engagement with objects, now at the age of 5 our son reads and writes, and practices not only addition and subtraction but has been introduced to multiplication and division. We previously had him in a private school that focused entirely on academic progress and didn’t care about his social development. At MCH our son has been supported and encouraged to develop holistically. He is happy and outgoing, respects and plays well with others. He loves the art and nature projects they do at MCH. The school’s director, Ms. Michelle, has been phenomenal. She listens and is responsive and respectfully works to accomodate parents requests and needs. The teachers are caring and dedicated to their profession. They’re always willing to make time to talk about your child. We’ve also enjoyed the community encouraging gatherings the school puts on- is a great way to meet and connect with other families. MCH has been fantastic for us and for our son these past 1.5 years- highly recommended!!
Our second child is finishing 3 years at MCH. Mixhelle Greiner has turned this school into an incredibly supportive environment for children to grow. She is skilled in Montessori, a lover of childrens literature, apparently a skilled singer as my 4 yo frequently comes home singing and an advocate for the children. I receive updates regarding my childs day and I always feel like my kids best interests both social developmental and academic are being taken into account. We started the year after covid and through this trying time Michelle and her staff have worked to keep the kids safe, happy and learning. In this postcovid environment they continue to reinvent themselves and make even greater gains in socialization. I should also mention our first child attended years ago and we found the school not a good match however this time around Michelle and her staff have taken the extra time to make parent and child feel cared for and heard.
My twins started attending MCH at 2.5 years of age. Since then I have seen them emotionally grow from being babies to coherent, considerate, curious little human beings. I give a lot of the credit for that to the Staff and Teachers at MCH. It is a very intimate environment where everybody knows everyone. My kids come home excited talking about their friends, teachers and their activities during the day. I have been very pleased with the Montessori method and also how it focuses on raising concerned, good human beings. We consider ourselves very lucky that our kids got to make their transition in this loving and caring environment.
I would not recommend this school, my child had a really bad experience in this school.
