Montessori Magpie holds a special place in our hearts. We enrolled our daughter Kennedy when she was just four months old, and from the very beginning, we felt completely at ease. The warmth, professionalism, and care shown by Ana and her entire team created a nurturing environment that made Magpie feel like an extension of our home. What truly sets this school apart is the caliber of early childhood education. Kennedy has learned and grown in ways that constantly amaze us—she’s thriving well beyond typical milestones, thanks to the enriching experiences and thoughtful guidance she receives every day. Leaving Chicago was incredibly hard, but the hardest part by far was saying goodbye to the incredible teachers and friends Kennedy made at Magpie. We feel deeply fortunate that her earliest months and year+ were spent in such a remarkable place. We've had such a wonderful experience at Montessori Magpie. Our 2-and-a-half-year-old clearly feels comfortable here and looks forward to being dropped off each day. She has blossomed in several ways since starting. The faculty has been accommodating, patient, and friendly. I would recommend MM without hesitation.

Finding Montessori Magpie has been an absolute blessing to our family. After having a nanny for a couple of years, we wanted to introduce our child to a classroom style environment, and did extensive research in the neighborhood and toured several facilities. Montessori Magpie gives our child such focused care and attention, it's been incredible to experience how much she's learned and how much she has grown in a short amount of time. Ana, the owner, made us feel at ease from day one and each teacher has made an effort to get to know our kiddo while helping her develop and hit milestones quickly and consistently. One of many differentiators between MM and the other daycares we toured is the thoughtfulness and planning that goes into the children's curriculum, environment, and schedule. They are very intentional with this and I can tell our kiddo has really excelled here. Love that they are in the community.

I'm constantly amazed at the growth I see in my child since starting at the Toddler and Twos Room at Montessori Magpie about 6 months ago. We began as nervous parents, transitioning our child to daycare after being cared for by a nanny. After my initial tour with Ana, the Director at Montessori Magpie, I was in awe and started to imagine the impact this transition would have on my child throughout their life. Hearing Ana describe her child development philosophies and how they incorporate aspects of Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, my nervousness transformed into excitement and optimism. As a child, I didn't attend this type school. Now after a few months, I can see the impact on my child’s development. I also see their excitement every morning as they get ready to learn and see their friends and teachers. We really feel how invested the teachers and staff are in our child's development.

We have been sending our son to Magpie for about a year and could not be happier. Our son is thriving and seems to be learning new skills on a daily basis! The teachers are all professionals who really care about the children and about early childhood education and it shows. Our son also has some allergies and they handle it very well, including having a special menu for lunch and snacks. Magpie is a special place and we are thrilled to have met Ana and all the wonderful teachers there.
