Montessori Children'S House-Tulane Road

We could not be happier with our experience at Tulane Montessori Children’s House. It is a remarkable, nurturing, and exceptionally special place, and a wonderful foundation for a child’s educational journey. All of my children blossomed there, both emotionally and academically. Because of Tulane Children's House, they were confidently and thoroughly prepared going into their K year. Ms. Monte and every teacher we encountered were consistently kind, endlessly patient, and incredibly warm with my children. They have a rare and beautiful ability to genuinely connect with, thoughtfully engage, and skillfully teach children of all personalities and learning styles. The Montessori approach was brought to life in such a meaningful way that my children would come home excitedly sharing fascinating facts, new ideas, and thoughtful questions inspired by their day and the curriculum. I was always so amazed at all the knowledge and excitement my kids have brought home. Tulane Montessori Children’s House is a place where children feel seen, supported, and inspired to love learning. I'm profoundly grateful for the role it played in our children’s early years and cannot recommend it enough.

Our son Remy went to Tulane Montessori for preschool. We had the greatest experience there we could ask for. The most remarkable thing was that he was truly inspired to learn, even at such a young age. At age 3 and 4 years old, he would come home excited to tell us all about the amazing things he’d explored at school. We wish he still did this now in Elementary School! The teachers are warm, kind and inspiring people. The environment feels somewhere between a school and a beautiful house. There is lots of light, and the spaces are open and pleasant. The gardens are private, with lots for the kiddos to play with. Remy still talks about Tulane Montessori. He really loved it there. We feel very fortunate for this to have been his first experience of education. It’s a special place.

I highly recommend Tulane Montessori for early childhood education. I sent both of my children to this outstanding school and watched them thrive intellectually and emotionally. The teachers were devoted to the children and guided each student to reach their maximum potential. My children could not wait to attend school every day and were so proud to show me the various projects they created. I fell in love with the home like environment which was nestled in a quiet tree lined suburban neighborhood. It even has a wonderful backyard with play structures. This is a school that I trusted with my children's wellbeing and I highly recommend Tulane Montessori Children’s House for your family as well.

Both of my kids went to Children’s House and although they are drastically different students, they both excelled! My son is in 5th grade and is doing very well in Math. He participates often in class and stays actively interested in learning new concepts. My daughter is in 2nd grade and is above benchmark in both Math and Reading. Both are very social and interact well with peers, teachers and adults. The teachers are AMAZING! You can feel the love they have for helping each individual child succeed at their own pace. I can’t say enough good things about this school! Children’s House provided a strong foundation that we will continue to foster.
