We love MCA for our two toddlers! They have been incredible in fostering a safe space for our two children to learn, grow and explore. Director Barbara and her staff openly communicate with parents regularly. Our children are so happy to go to school, love their teachers and their friends. Highly recommend 🥰
It’s my sons first “school” at 2 years old and though this first transition can be difficult the director and staff have been so accommodating and wonderful that I truly feel this school was the best choice. Also, because of their hybrid approach they have plenty of outside time which my son absolutely adores. I cant wait for my son to start his official school year here, to see how he grows under this nurturing and loving school.
I want to share that this school has undergone a major and much-needed transformation. As a parent of two toddlers who have been attending for the past few years, I can truly say that the recent changes in management have brought a beautiful shift to the center. The learning spaces are noticeably cleaner and more inviting, giving the children a better environment to explore, play, and grow. The new director has been absolutely wonderful, she’s kind, well-educated, and genuinely cares about the children, their families, and the staff. The teachers have also embraced the changes with grace, and their use of new teaching strategies has made a real difference. Although I am not very familiar with the Reggio Emilia/Montessori hybrid approach at first, I am seen how well its working. Thank you, Barbie, and thank you to the entire team of teachers for giving this school the thoughtful revamp it truly needed.
Between my two children, we’ve been part of the center for about four years and have experienced several directors during that time. Each one had a genuine heart, meant well, and did their best to lead the school with the resources available to them. More recently, the school has begun transitioning to a Reggio-inspired philosophy under the guidance of a new director, and it has been a truly beautiful shift. This approach to learning is child-led, with activities that are intentionally designed to be both meaningful and engaging. The new director demonstrates a clear and sincere commitment to the well-being and learning of the children, as well as to the support of staff and families. She is consistently present, approachable, and invested. In a short time, she has transformed the classroom environments into thoughtful, purposeful spaces that reflect the children’s interests and invite exploration. It’s evident that both families and staff are responding positively to these changes, and I personally feel very happy and hopeful about the direction the school is taking. I also want to acknowledge the teachers, Jackie, Karla and Ashley who have been consistently wonderful. They are warm, loving, and always present—with a smile on their faces and genuine engagement with the children. Their dedication and care are at the heart of what makes the center such a special place.
Our daughter has been attending this Montessori school for a year now (she’s 3 years old), and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, she felt welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. She genuinely looks forward to going to school every day — which, as a parent, is such a reassuring feeling. Her teacher, Ms. Jackie, has been absolutely wonderful with her. You can tell she truly cares about the children and has a natural gift for working with them. Under her guidance, our daughter has grown in confidence, independence, and curiosity. We’ve noticed amazing progress not just academically, but in her ability to express herself and engage with the world around her. We are so grateful for this school and for Ms. Jackie’s dedication.
