What Parents Say
Montessori Child Development Center receives mostly positive reviews praising the Montessori teaching methods, caring staff, and child development outcomes. However, several parents report negative experiences with management, including disputed billing policies and unprofessional treatment during enrollment.
My son absolutely loves coming to "school"! He has never been so excited and happy with a daycare as he has with MCDC. He knows all of the staff by name and they greet one another through the halls on his way to his assigned room. He has made so many friends and talks about the things they learned. He has made incredible progress in development thanks to this program. As someone who previously worked in child care, I can confirm that they are truly by the book in child to adult ratios and actually certified in Montessori teaching. We wish we had found this child care center sooner!
So my wife and i tried to get our daughter into a new daycare after hers was closed down. My wife went on a tour of montessori with our little one and then started the enrollment paper work. So 3 days go by and i call to check to see if she would be starting on mon, I speak to a Ms, jessica and start to have a conversation well Ms, jessica the supposed director began with a lie to me telling me she called my wife and left a voice message with her about our status, my wife never recieved a call from her, so we continued talking and she seemed as though she just wanted to argue and try to use her authority to try to intimidate me because we are in a desperate situation and she continued to over talk me so i asked her to de-escalate well i guess that was her trigger point i had hurt her feelings. So today my wife calls back to check status on enrollment they call her back and said they no longer want us at their daycare cause i guess i hurt the feelings of the 50 year old lady with BLUE HAIR Ms jessica and she needed to go to her safe space. Well i guess this is our world now we have adults that cant have a adult conversation without hurt feelings and these are the people influencing our young ones and helping to shape there little minds i guess when looking at this whole situation now with clear eyes and no more desperation this was a godsend because this could have been a bad decision to enroll her there.
We did not have a good experience at this school. I was mocked for having miscarriages and forced to take my daughter elsewhere. I never had any problems with her teachers, they were pretty understanding. I wouldn't suggest going here especially after we were treated the way we were.
My littles have been going here since they were babies. The staff is great!! My three year old loves to go to school. She especially loves Ms Rachel and continues to draw her pictures even though she isn’t in her class anymore. My now kindergartner loves to pick up her little sister to see her friends and teachers. If you have a little one this is the place to send them.
My kid went here for about 4 months or so she loves it. And all the workers are nice. But unfortunately we took her out of this daycare. Their heat went out for two days and they still made us pay for the 2 days that they where closed. To "hold our kids spot in the program". So not only did I have to pay 90 dollars for the two days they didn't watch my kid, I had to pay someone else to watch her. I highly disagree on this policy and think I shouldnt have to pay for them not to watch my kid. So we are putting her in a new daycare that does not have this policy. So basically this daycare just lost 3500 dollars because of 90 dollars. Otherwise it's a awesome place and if you like paying people not to watch your kid this is the place for you!!!!
