Mnps Pre-K At Kindercare L.C. Swiss Ave.

This place will always have a special place in my heart because the teachers and staff are so wonderful and carrying and you can tell they love their kids. When my son left for kindergarten, he was ahead of the class because they taught him so much. He was a real love for learning and reading which I believe is because of the special attention the teachers here give each child.

My grandson was ready to make new friends and get ready for Kindergarten. Our neighbor offered the Swiss Avenue Kindercare as a fantastic place for Z to prepare for “big school.” I visited with the owner Ms Jamie and was pleased to see all classes staffed appropriately and kids that were busy and happy. In short, Z was then placed in the 4-year old class with a seasoned teacher (24 years of experience). Ms Sherry recognized that Z was very capable and made sure he stayed stimulated, eager to learn, and could excel at his own pace. In fact, she did this personal coaching with each child in her class. The kids loved her and each one rose to their personal best. I highly recommend this facility; the staff cares about each child, gently guiding & nurturing good lifelong habits and attitudes!

Our 7-month old daughter has been at Swiss Avenue Kinder Care since January and loves it. She is excited to go every day, she loves her teachers, and we love the app. We get daily photos of her, and her teachers are always doing interesting and engaging activities with her (puppet shows, reading books, sensory play, etc.). She comes home happy and tired (in a good way--this tells me she hasn't been bored) every day. I have also found the center very communicative and easy to work with. I have worked in child care in the past and I know that this one is great based on what I see happening during drop off and pick up and the information I receive from her caretakers. Every daycare struggles with staffing turnover at times, but I have seen a lot of consistency at this one and we have been very happy.

This center has been great for my little one. Initially my little guy had a bad case of separation anxiety and was used to staying at home with his parents because of the pandemic, but this center managed to get him introduced and acclimated gently. The teachers were wonderful in keeping him distracted and happy, now there are no tears at drop off and he loves seeing his favorite teachers in the morning. The fact that they provide photo and video updates of the kids activities and remain communicative through notes if need be means that I don't have to worry if everyone is doing okay. Everyone has been friendly, courteous, and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

After 4 years and few months, I can't say enough great things about KinderCare at Swiss Ave. The main reason why I chose this location was the widenees of the classrooms. Teacher and staff are great. I love the update that I get throughout the day, the live videos, pictures, and the notes. I am very thankful that they are open during the pandemic for the essential workers and for other families, and that they are working with our students on virtual learning.
