MKS Learning Center is a fabulous place for children to learn and grow! I am very appreciative of the amazing job all the MKS team does to ensure that my children are safe, very well cared for, and feel home away from home. My youngest has been going to MKS since the age of 6 weeks and she is now 8 months and my 3 year old also attends their aftercare program and other programming when school is out of session. Both of my children LOVE being at MKS Learning Center! The Director of the center, Ms. Pinkney, and dedicated team truly prides themselves on ensuring the center is operable to the highest level of safety and cleanliness standards. I highly recommend MKS for parents seeking a wonderful, professional, safe, clean and quality center for their little ones.

I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a distressing incident that occurred at MKS Learning Center located in Decatur, off of Candler Rd. When I arrived to pick up my son from the facility, I was shocked to find him in a state of distress and sadness. Upon inquiring about the reason for his distress, my son disclosed to me that a teacher at the daycare had physically hit him. He proceeded to show me the visible red mark on his face, indicating the location of the alleged incident. In response to this alarming revelation, I immediately approached Ms. Pinkley, the director of the daycare, to address the situation. Regrettably, instead of showing genuine concern and taking prompt action, Ms. Pinkley denied the occurrence of any such incident, dismissing my son's account by stating that such behavior is not tolerated at the facility. Despite my request to review the video footage for clarity and resolution of the matter, she adamantly refused, citing time constraints as the primary reason. As a last resort, I contacted my wife, who is employed at the facility as a driver, in the hope that she could access the video footage and provide insight into the situation. Unfortunately, the director also barred her from viewing the footage, adding to the mounting concerns regarding the lack of transparency and professionalism demonstrated by the daycare's management. Based on this deeply troubling experience, I feel compelled to express my profound disappointment with the standards of care and supervision at MKS Learning Center. The dismissive attitude, refusal to address a serious complaint, and obstruction of access to crucial evidence are indicative of a concerning lack of accountability and integrity within the establishment. In light of these distressing circumstances, I firmly believe that it is imperative to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children under the care of MKS Learning Center. The welfare of our children should never be compromised, and I urge you to consider the gravity of this situation and take decisive action to address these serious concerns. I trust that you will carefully review this communication and take the necessary steps to investigate the incident, hold those responsible accountable, and implement measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

My Kids has been going to MKS For About almost 2 years now . Fast forward to today, They’re going on 3 years and I can not be happier with my decision on sending Them here. The staff has treated us like family and I trust their teaching, judgement, and love when it comes to them. Thank you so much Mks family.

I can see how the other reviews are true! First i would like to say this center is dirty, it needs a really deep detailed cleaning , from the classrooms to the kitchen! Filthy floor baseboards walls and more! Workers seem like the directors friends. Say one thing , do another. Changing stations in front of windows. Toddlers are crying at drop off not wanting to go. Much room for improvement . Potential is there

My son started with MKS when was 10 months old. The teachers and the Freeman administration are like family. The school always smells good especially first thing in the morning with breakfast as they serve the children of all ages. Clean facility, state board currimulm based and staff is always patient friendly. In the Infant room Ms. Sylvester spoils the babies with tender loving care while making sure their feed timely. In the one year old classroom, Mrs Bernard goes above and beyond to treat every child special. Fun And energetic. And Mrs. Matthews is awesome, very structured and organized. I love that my son never hesitates to go her as he is now in the two year classroom. Any concern they never hesitate to address. Thank MKS for continuing to help me raise a bright young man.
