Our Heartfelt Gratitude to MVM Choosing MVM for the most important foundational years of our child’s education has truly been one of our wisest decisions. We made this choice thoughtfully and intentionally, knowing we wanted to provide a genuine Montessori education in an AMI-accredited school—and MVM has met every expectation and more. We are deeply grateful that our son, Rigmay, has had the privilege of being under the care and guidance of Ms. Kinza during these formative first three years of his school life. These early years are so crucial in shaping a child’s future, and we feel incredibly fortunate that Ms. Kinza joined MVM around the same time he began his journey here. Her warmth, patience, and thoughtful approach have made a profound and lasting impact on him—and on us as parents. We also want to acknowledge and deeply appreciate all the support and helper teachers, who have been so thoughtful and caring—from the very beginning of the day to the end. Their gentle guidance, attention, and consistent presence make the classroom environment truly nurturing and joyful. We are truly thankful for the open, respectful, kind, and loving environment that the entire staff and school leadership, especially Mr. Justin, have cultivated. Every interaction radiates genuine care and dedication. We couldn’t be more grateful for the nurturing foundation MVM has provided for our child’s growth, confidence, and love for learning. It brings us immense joy to see him flourish in such a supportive and inspiring environment.
A true home away from home! Our son joined Mission Valley Montessori when he was just 1.5 years old — barely starting to talk and eat on his own. From those early days in the infant class, the teachers patiently guided him through every milestone — from learning to eat independently to expressing himself with confidence. As he moved to the toddler class, we saw him blossom into a self-reliant little boy — putting on his own jacket, shoes, and slowly learning to do things independently. The teachers have an incredible way of combining warmth with gentle discipline, always encouraging the children to explore, try, and grow. By the time he entered the primary class, he was confidently tracing letters, writing, counting, and learning advanced concepts — all in the true Montessori way. The emphasis on hands-on learning and independent thinking is something we’ll always appreciate. Every single teacher here is nurturing, patient, and deeply invested in the child’s development. The care, communication, and love they show make it truly feel like a second home. We’ll forever be grateful for the foundation Mission Valley Montessori has built for our son — not just academically, but emotionally and socially too. ❤️
Started my son at MVM when he was 21 months. Was often told by others it was too early and for a moment I was doubtful too. But I can say now, with full confidence, I have ZERO regrets. At 21 months my son barely spoke any words (mama, papa, and grunting noises). This is despite us reading, singing, talking to him constantly and no screen time as well. But within 3 weeks of him starting, his vocabulary increased dramatically. We were on a walk and he pointed to the sky and said “airplane”. He became more independent and expressive. His teachers at that time, Ms. Emarie and her team, is just amazing. I can truly see how much they love the kids. And my son adores them equally. When he moved on to the upper classroom, they made sure to transition him properly and supported him. If there is an incident, there’s no hesitation to inform us. If there’s an update, they’re quick to share. Side note: everyone there are so kind. From the front desk (Ms. May and Ms. Luisa), the teachers, and directors. I don’t have any complaints. We had the opportunity to work with Mr. Justin. He answered every question and concern. He also provided insight and guidance. We’re thankful that he was so open and helpful especially to us parents who are anxious to leave our child to the care of others. The only complaint is that I wish they take pictures of every hour of the day of my son haha. Other side note: very CLEAN facility! I constantly think back to how he was prior to MVM and I honestly think they have helped mold him to where he is now. I’m so thankful. I’m a firm believer in their values and teaching style. It’s also a learning moment for me as a parent just seeing how they function and do things. I do my best to use their implications because I do believe it works. Thank you, MVM!
Best Montessori School! Mission Valley Montessori is truly the best Montessori school out there! The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, and the facilities are always clean and welcoming. But what really sets this school apart is the incredible staff—they genuinely care for each child as if they were family. Every time we visit, it’s clear that they prioritize both safety and learning, creating an environment where kids thrive. I highly recommend Mission Valley Montessori to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive school where their child will be well cared for and encouraged to grow.
We’ve had a great experience at this school with both of our children. The Montessori teaching method really encourages independence, creativity, and a love of learning. The teachers are caring and truly know each child, which makes us feel like part of a big, supportive family. The director is always involved and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The space is neat, beautifully organized, and filled with artistic touches. We’ve seen our kids grow in confidence and curiosity, and we’re really happy with the supportive, family-like environment here.
