Miss Muffett'S Learning Ctr.

I’ve had two granddaughters attend here, one is currently in the toddler room. On days I drop off or pick up, I have found the staff warm and friendly and very respectful of my need to not leave a crying child. They have been very gentle and patient with both of us during that handoff time. At pickup, my gdtr is playful and happy. The spaces are clean and organized, security cameras present but not visibly intrusive, and best of all the teachers I encounter now (this wasn’t always the case- rough patch a couple years ago under a different leader) appear truly happy to be there, and are genuinely respectful of the littles and their families.

I had a horrible experience while sending my 3 year old daughter to this daycare center. I’m not sure if the neglect was based solely on the fact that my baby is black or if it was just because they are hiring “teachers”(I use that word very loosely) that do the bare minimum to care for defenseless children. There has been multiple occasions where I would send my daughter to school looking a certain way and she would come back looking like somebody pulled or was playing in her hair, her bows and berets would always come up missing and when I would ask about it the teachers would just look at me like I was crazy…. As if I was speaking a foreign language, I even mentioned a concern I had to the director about my child coming home scratched all over her arms and the back of her neck and the situation was never addressed. My finale straw was when the teachers was supposed to be watching the children play outside and they let my daughter go step in cat poop in her brand new white shoes which ruined them! Afterwards they took the shoes off of her and set them outside. Nobody tried to clean them up or notify me of anything. My daughter was walking around the rest of the day barefoot, from 12p.m. to 5p.m. When I went to go pick her up. My suggestion to you if you are a parent who cares about the way your child is being looked after when they are out of your sight is to not send them to this place.

This child care and preschool center is amazing!! Things that were happening under the previous center owners (teachers lying to parents, leaving children outside by themselves, etc.) do not happen under Friendship Academy because of the changes that have been made since they took over operation on September 3rd, 2024. Highly recommend this center and all of their staff!! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing place, my kids have had amazing experiences there and really learn alot. Definitely get what you pay for
