We are so grateful we found The Mirasol School at just the right time for our family. We had tried a few other daycares that were decent or even good, but from start to finish this place truly felt like home. No one asked me to write this review—I just had to. We’ve sent three of our four kids through the school, and the staff consistency has been amazing. It always felt like the same friendly, helpful faces each day. The teachers are truly dedicated and genuinely care about the kids. The entire facility is always clean and organized. The artwork they send home is top-notch—our kids were always so proud to bring it home. One of my daughter’s teachers would routinely do her hair in fun, fancy styles just to make her feel happy and special. The overall structure of the program is outstanding. We always felt our children were safe—never a worry about security—and the communication has been excellent. Kim, the director, is warm, professional, and always helpful. She’s guided us through decisions when we were overwhelmed and always understood the stresses parents face. She goes above and beyond to ease those stresses and offer support. We’re sad to be graduating out of the school, but we will always feel forever grateful. Thank you to all the staff, who now feel like friends.

A Truly Transformative Year at The Mirasol School I feel incredibly fortunate to have had my daughter attend The Mirasol School for a second round of VPK. I had struggled with the decision to have her attend one more year or place her straight into kindergarten. What began as a thoughtful decision to give her one more year to grow turned into an absolutely transformative experience—so much so that she’s now confidently SKIPPING kindergarten and heading straight into first grade. The growth I’ve seen in her—academically, emotionally, and socially—has been astounding. And at the heart of that growth is Miss Maddie, whose warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication made all the difference. She has a rare gift: the ability to meet each child exactly where they are, while gently challenging them to reach just a little higher. My daughter felt truly seen, celebrated, and empowered every single day. The Mirasol School is more than just a school—it’s a place where children are nurtured, inspired, and encouraged to explore their fullest potential. The curriculum is rich and thoughtfully designed, yet always joyful and developmentally attuned. Whether it was early literacy, number sense, science, or creative expression, my daughter was engaged, challenged, and excited to learn. The support and communication from the entire staff was equally exceptional. Every teacher and team member we encountered brought warmth, professionalism, and a shared commitment to the success and well-being of each child. We are beyond grateful for the lasting impact this school—and especially Miss Maddie—has had on my daughter’s early education journey. The Mirasol School has truly set the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a place where their child can shine.

We love this preschool. Kim has assembled a fantastic team of teachers that our children look forward to seeing every day. Special shout out to our kids' teachers Miss Maddie, Miss Summer, Miss Brit, Miss Danielle, and Miss Jill. You watch and educate our kids with true dedication and genuine joy of being with them. If we could not be home taking care of our kids ourselves, the Mirasol School is the only alternative. Kim Ryan, the staff, and teachers foster a personal relationship with every family that is a part of this schools community. The best of the best.

Our daughter has been in VPK for 5 months. From day 1 - she has had the most AMAZING experience. Her teachers, ms Joanne and ms Louis are absolute pros at what they day. From drop off to pick up they are smiling and enthusiastic. In addition, the school has been very communicative (which our family is thankful for because we tend to be forgetful hehe). Although we live near Downtown Abacoa, we take the extra drive for our 5 year old to Mirasol because we were so impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. e have not been disappointed in the least!
