Our toddler has been attending Minnieland Academy for almost five months, and we’ve had a great experience so far. He genuinely enjoys being there, and it’s been wonderful to see how much he’s growing and learning. The environment feels caring, and engaging. Debbie and Yasi are fantastic managers—warm, professional, and always attentive. They’ve made the whole process feel smooth and reassuring for us as parents. We’re happy to have found a place where our child feels happy and supported!
Love Minnieland! We have enjoyed the small daycare feel and amazing communication and consideration for our 7mo old and 9 yr old! Constant updates throughout the day lets me know my babies are well taken care of!
UPDATE: Almost a year later and we still LOVE our Ashbriar Minnieland village!! Our son, now almost 19 months, spends time with children of various levels (babies, toddlers, 2’s) and we can tell! He’s a little advanced for his age with language and he initiated potty training at 17 months (something his toddler teacher has introduced and talked about) He loves his friends, loves his teachers, loves going to ‘school’. We’re expecting our second boy late spring and the teachers and staff have always been so caring and genuinely interested in how things are going, not just with the baby but also how our toddler is handling things. Cannot recommend this little family friendly daycare enough!! We absolutely LOVE the Ashbriar Minnieland. We enrolled our little guy at just shy of 3 months, he’s now 8 months and absolutely THRIVES in the environment they’ve created. He has a few little friends and already one little best friend. His teachers have encouraged his friendships and his developmental growth. We get pictures and updates almost hourly, what he ate and when, diaper changes, mood updates, we get lesson plans for the week, messages when he’s fussy from teething and to let us know he’s getting extra love. Everyone loves him and he adores his teachers, he gets so excited when they greet him at the door. We absolutely recommend Debbie and her staff for anyone looking to add to their little village to love on and care for their kiddos.
I'm really sad about what my child went through this and my heartbreak , and I am absolutely upset. My daughter should feel safe, loved, and included at school, especially at such a young age. What she's experienced is not just hurtful — it's harmful, and the fact that I been telling the administration in to what my child was complaining ,but the administration didn’t see meaningful change is deeply troubling What my daughter went through — being , repeatedly targeted, and especially hearing comments about her skin color — is serious. It’s not just “kids being kids.” she sees speeh therapist, and in her session, she told her therapist she didn't want to go to school because one of the kids was telling her she had dark skin this is the same kid that I was telling the administration that she is complaining about and I was assured they will notify the parents my child don't complain unless it is to much they know they keep saying it to but they clearly don't try to do any thing she loved her teacher's the teacher's are very nice they work hard my child loved them dearlythe administration needs to be trained when there is a complaining it is something it should not be ignored. children don't come up with this kind of language and attitude on their own — it reflects what they absorb at home or in their environment. That doesn’t make it okay. I am proud of our dark skin color, and yes, we are migrants but her dad has been deployed for 2 years and 6 months serving for all of us.
Minnieland is more than a daycare, is where my daughter wants to be, it’s a big family looking out each others and making sure that our little one have the best time there, for me that’s make a huge difference.
